Next Sunday (28th June) there's a K9 Day hosted by Puppy.com. It's going to be at Chin Woo Stadium, and apparently, it's air conditioned...

Here are some photos that were taken during our trip to Ruby's Resort...I think everybody should go there at least once, coz the place is amazing! And the best thing is, nobody is there to discriminate you and your furkids while you're there
![]() Scottie at the beach (I actually have loads of his photos, but I don't want to bore you with them. LOL!) ![]() Early morning scenery from the resort.... ![]() Scenery at the beach ![]() Hermit crabs and shells when the tide was out... ![]() An 'advertisement photo' for the beach...LOL! ![]() You can even see turtles there too during the turtle egg laying season! Ruby's Resort is just beside the Cherating turtle sanctuary, so if you're there pay a visit to them |

QUOTE(edwinlcw @ Jul 29 2009, 06:18 PM) Hi Edwin, there are quite a few dog bakery blogs that you can go to, like:http://pawzbakery.blogspot.com/ http://blinkpetsbakery.blogspot.com/ http://wowwowbakery.blogspot.com/ http://thebarkery-ay.blogspot.com/ I also made some dog cakes and treats before for Scottie and Kenji, but the ones I make usually involve meat. I don't make flour cakes Added on July 29, 2009, 7:59 pm QUOTE(jason86 @ Jul 29 2009, 07:53 PM) LOL! It's good fun if you go there with a bunch of friends with furkids This post has been edited by Rayne: Jul 29 2009, 08:00 PM |

Added on July 29, 2009, 8:47 pm QUOTE(edwinlcw @ Jul 29 2009, 08:46 PM) Club Med nicer.. Yeah, Club Med is nicer, but you can never bring your furkids to a resort like Club Med or any other hotels lo. Ruby's Resort is just next to Club Med Cherating actually anyway, cherating is a nice place to go actually... but it take 3 and half hours from here... QUOTE(edwinlcw @ Jul 29 2009, 08:51 PM) no no... club med has it own beach.. which needs to travel by their shutter 1.... Oh, ok...I always thought it's the same stretch since they're both next to each other...the map also say like that, so dunno what's the fee like for the ruby resorts per night? The room rates depend on which room you take...you can check out the room rates here: http://rubys-resort.com/rooms.php |

Oh, you mean you want to have the gathering in Cherating? I don't think it's possible to get a booking this close to the date...Ruby's Resort is quite popular, and from what I was told by Ruby, she is fully booked until September. Plus, if you want to bring your furkids along, you would need to book at least about 80% of the whole resort...coz a lot of her customers are Muslims, so if we want to bring our furkids, you need to gather enough people.

QUOTE(thedancingsun @ Jul 31 2009, 08:32 AM) H1N1 only affect humans...that's why stop calling Swine Flu. Swine Flu only affect pigs!! Unless got dog flu lah...then...depending normal flu or mutated version. Yup, the virus only infects humans...it did not originate from pigs. But pigs are 'amplifiers' for the virus, meaning that if the virus mutates and infects pigs, they will spread it faster (which is why initially it was called swine flu). Still, there have been no cases of swine being infected, so it's still safe to eat pork Added on July 31, 2009, 9:04 am QUOTE(waynejohnson @ Jul 30 2009, 07:22 PM) Umm...read properly the post you quoted.
