I will most probably be there too...helping to volunteer at an adoption booth smile.gif

Next Sunday (28th June) there's a K9 Day hosted by Puppy.com. It's going to be at Chin Woo Stadium, and apparently, it's air conditioned...smile.gif Anyone going? I'm enrolling Scottie in their Pre Novice competition...laugh.gif Not that he's getting any better, but I'm just joining for fun and experience smile.gif

Umm...I was told that it's near Stadium Negara there. There's a map given in Puppy.com's website here: http://www.puppy.com.my/k9day/map.html

I've given Scottie some durian before...heh! I've even blogged about it here: http://nottiescottie.blogspot.com/2008/08/...true-asian.html wink.gif Don't give so much lo if you're afraid they'll get heaty. I think I only gave Scottie the bits from whatever I've eaten, maybe one small seed (the fleshy part only). smile.gif Scottie LOVED eating durian too!

I was there from 12pm until about 8.30pm for the obedience trials ohmy.gif They started the trials at about 6.30pm (when it was supposed to start at 2pm -___-"). My family was getting very tired and restless, so we left without even me knowing what is Scottie's score...haha! I did ask a friend of mine to help me check, so we'll see how...smile.gif It was quite crowded when I first got there, and yes, like what Eric mentioned....quite a few owners I see just pretended that they didn't notice that their dogs pooped, and just walked off. I saw a lady with a Shih Tzu who did just that...*sigh* No wonder we don't get to go to many places with our furkids...

Here are some photos that were taken during our trip to Ruby's Resort...I think everybody should go there at least once, coz the place is amazing! And the best thing is, nobody is there to discriminate you and your furkids while you're there wink.gif

You can even see turtles there too during the turtle egg laying season! Ruby's Resort is just beside the Cherating turtle sanctuary, so if you're there pay a visit to them smile.gif

Hi Edwin, there are quite a few dog bakery blogs that you can go to, like:

http://pawzbakery.blogspot.com/
http://blinkpetsbakery.blogspot.com/
http://wowwowbakery.blogspot.com/
http://thebarkery-ay.blogspot.com/

I also made some dog cakes and treats before for Scottie and Kenji, but the ones I make usually involve meat. I don't make flour cakes wink.gif

rayne~ wow.....u poisoned us d....keke.....

LOL! It's good fun if you go there with a bunch of friends with furkids smile.gif But everybody has to make sure that all the furkids and humans are safe (main priority) and very important also is to be responsible owners...don't simply let your furkids run freely without leash and pick up after our furkids. smile.gif Other than that, everybody will have a great time playing with their furkids at the beach, coz it's very peaceful and quiet there...not many people will be there to disturb, so it's very nice smile.gif

Club Med nicer..tongue.gif got lots of activities... and their beach is nice..
anyway, cherating is a nice place to go actually... but it take 3 and half hours from here... sweat.gif
*
Yeah, Club Med is nicer, but you can never bring your furkids to a resort like Club Med or any other hotels lo. Ruby's Resort is just next to Club Med Cherating actually wink.gif Both beaches are on the same stretch smile.gif

no no... club med has it own beach.. which needs to travel by their shutter 1.... tongue.gif
what's the fee like for the ruby resorts per night?
*
Oh, ok...I always thought it's the same stretch since they're both next to each other...the map also say like that, so dunno hmm.gif

The room rates depend on which room you take...you can check out the room rates here: http://rubys-resort.com/rooms.php

Oh, you mean you want to have the gathering in Cherating? I don't think it's possible to get a booking this close to the date...Ruby's Resort is quite popular, and from what I was told by Ruby, she is fully booked until September. Plus, if you want to bring your furkids along, you would need to book at least about 80% of the whole resort...coz a lot of her customers are Muslims, so if we want to bring our furkids, you need to gather enough people.

Well, her whole resort for the time being has only about 8 rooms, so 80% is not a lot wink.gif Still, since she's fully booked until September, you'll have plenty of time to plan smile.gif

H1N1 only affect humans...that's why stop calling Swine Flu.  Swine Flu only affect pigs!! Unless got dog flu lah...then...depending normal flu or mutated version.
*
Yup, the virus only infects humans...it did not originate from pigs. But pigs are 'amplifiers' for the virus, meaning that if the virus mutates and infects pigs, they will spread it faster (which is why initially it was called swine flu). Still, there have been no cases of swine being infected, so it's still safe to eat pork smile.gif And you CAN still go out to parks and what not, but have to be quite careful and alert...smile.gif
