Not sure if you can easily find it here though (mine was bought from Korea by my sis). Most of the pee trays that I see are the wee wee pad ones.

Yup, with the rack on top you actually don't even have to use the newspaper to line it. You can just wash off the whole tray when your pup is done.

If you're only going with your bf, just call her up and ask which dates you can bring your pets along
The rooms are quite basic...quite clean and all, but don't expect like a hotel feel lo. They have basic facilities like water heater, television, aircond, etc. I didn't mind the facilities, as I seldom use them when I was there also. I brought Scottie out most of the time to enjoy the beaches... |

QUOTE(robbylover89 @ May 10 2009, 12:07 AM) hi guys...can i noe wat type of comb is suitable for MS?? i'm looking forward 2 buy a comb 4 my Elmo boy...thanks Well, I use two kinds of brushes and combs to brush Scottie after bathing and stuff. One is the slicker brush:![]() I use that when blow drying Scottie's fur. It helps to make his fur a bit fluffy after blow drying Then there's a two-sided comb which I got: ![]() I comb the fur with this after blow-drying to make sure I didn't miss out any mats. If there are mats still, I use the slicker brush to de-mat it. Sometimes it works (the fur gets dematted nicely), sometimes it doesn't (the matted fur will just fall out after a few brushes). I'm no professional pet groomer, but these are the brushes that the groomers recommended to me when I asked. Added on May 10, 2009, 1:04 pm QUOTE(thedancingsun @ May 10 2009, 12:19 AM) Is this how the MS gathering looks like??? That is quite a cool video! Yeah, I guess our gatherings are somewhat like that, except we don't have that many people and doggies. But the last 2 gatherings I've been to are like that...we get together and chit chat about our furkids and let them mingle around (most of them on leash). I like in the video that most of the doggies have undocked tails! So cute! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vh2IQSCQK5I&feature=related This post has been edited by Rayne: May 10 2009, 01:04 PM |

QUOTE(clementcpteh @ May 10 2009, 06:31 PM) Miniature Schnauzer no docked might look funny, ears clipping is the most nice look for Miniature Schnauzer. I have france friend at penang, she said get saman around rm10.000 if did both. Well, I don't think it looks funny at all...maybe because we are so used to how the Min. Schnauzers 'normally' look like here. I agree with thedancingsun that docking tails and ear cropping serves no purpose other than aesthetics. I kind of wished Scottie's tail was not docked too, but when I got him, his tail was already docked |

QUOTE(xbeeboo @ May 11 2009, 02:12 PM) wheeps~ Hi xbeeboo, your post sounds a little weird to me. You said your pup is now only 3 weeks old, and you're getting her in 2-3 weeks' time. But then it goes to say that the pup would be 3 months old? I'm getting my puppy in 2 or 3 weeks time since she is only 3 weeks old now. The breeder told me she's salt and pepper, but her hair is rather brownish and there is a black stripe on her back that leads way end to her tail. Is the hair suppose to be like that at the baby stage? the breeder told me to bring her home 1st, after 1 week only go for 1st jab. i told her to pass the puppy to me after her 1st jab, she said that at that time the puppy will more likely to attach to her since the puppy will be like 3 months old at that time. I'm very worried because this is my first time, friend did told me that it's safer to take the puppy after the 1st jab. help =/ Normally, a good breeder would only release the pups at about 8-9 weeks old, maybe even older than that. Before the pups are released to their new owners, the breeder would have already given the pups their first round of vaccinations. You as the new owner would be responsible for giving the 2nd and 3rd round of vaccinations after you got your puppy. For a breeder NOT to give the first round of vaccinations is a first for me. It kind of feels like the breeder is a dodgy one. Take caution of that. Ask properly with the breeder if she provides the 1st round of vaccination. If she says she does, she would have a card to state that she has sent the pup to a vet for the vaccination and the card would have stickers from the vaccination bottles. Hope that helps a little with your concerns. Re: salt and pepper colors, there are many variations to the salt and pepper color. So, no worries about the coloring and all that. As long as the pup is healthy and you are able to provide it with love and care, it's all good QUOTE(asa @ May 11 2009, 02:40 PM) Oh ya, Rayne, i m not able to attend the gathering at Desa park, i will go company camp during that time, compulsory Sorry to hear that you can't come, Asa! Oh ya, last monht change Carrie kibbles to Nutri Source, then after she ate it, her skin sensitive problem getting worst ! even though now stop liao and i bought back the same kibbles-blackwood for her, now her tummy got d black and red stain liao... Re: the kibble switch, if Carrie has some allergic reactions to the food like that, it's not the switch to the kibble that's wrong. I think the food is wrong for her, which is why her skin flares up like that. After switching back to Blackwood, she doesn't have the problems anymore right? If so, then the Nutri Source food is not suitable for her. |

QUOTE(xbeeboo @ May 11 2009, 04:32 PM) i'm sorry if it sounds weird to you. the puppy is now 3 weeks old. If your breeder is telling the truth, the pup now is 3 weeks old. By the time you get the pup after the first vaccination, the pup would only be about 2 months old, the most 2 and a half months. Mathematics, my dear here are the options the breeder gave me: 1. i bring the puppy at 6 weeks old. after 1 or 2 weeks i will need to bring the puppy to her designed vet's place for vaccination. 2. i bring the puppy home after the first vaccination. BUT by then the puppy will be about 3 months old because she needs 2 or 3 weeks to supervise the puppy after the vaccination. The puppy will attach to her and so she does not encourage me to take this option. she seemed a little frustrated when i asked to take the puppy ONLY after the first vaccination. whenever i raise this issue she will tell me the same thing again and again, which is "by that time the puppy will attach to me already!" she say until i also a bit afraid of her, she talks very loud and i'm not good in debating. so my question here is, does it really matter to take the puppy at 3 months old although the puppy starts to attach to her? and how old can the puppy can go for vaccination? she promised that she will give 9in1 jab. the payment is on HER and just the matter of whether I MYSELF or HER take the puppy for vaccination. Taking a pup at 3 months old is perfectly fine by me...I had pups with me last time too. The last pup to leave my house is more than 3 months old, and I had no complaints from his new owner at all. It is so weird that she stresses the payment of the vaccination is on her...of course it's supposed to be on her. This post has been edited by Rayne: May 11 2009, 04:42 PM |

QUOTE(asa @ May 11 2009, 05:32 PM) since she stop having the NS, no more pimples on her stomach, but still got satin(scar?), and day by day the scar become stain, now her stomach look like the old person's got the 'old ppl mark. Oic...Scottie also has a few pigmentation marks on his legs. I freaked out one time when I first saw it. Took him to the vet to see if he has an infection or what...the vet told me it's just pigmentation. and recently her skin sensitive getting worst, i think is becos her fur getting too long and the hot weather, i brought her and Tin Tin went Jason there grooming, Jason oso said she got skin problem. and i very rajin mop floor, cos she likes to lay on the floor, scare all d dirty 'stick' on her body. |

Scottie & Kenji cannot finish so much at one time, so I thought I'd grab the opportunity to try out the recipes and share them with you guys (& your furkids Neway, Daisy's BUFDAY is coming soon. Dis month punya 24th!! Dunno wat to buy for her...maybe will bake a cake for her...hmm...(stil thinking) Ooh...birthdays are always fun! http://pawzbakery.blogspot.com/ - The cookies are VERY nice! A friend of mine bought some for his doggie pool gathering, and it looked and smelled so nice! http://www.blinkpetsbakery.blogspot.com/ - I bought some cookies and tartlets from this blog before for Scottie's birthday in April...they look very nice as well! I managed to try one of the cookies and the tartlets..the cookies didn't have any taste at all. The tartlets' jam were nice, not so sweet (I'm guessing they used something like diabetics' jam, since diabetics cannot take sugar too) http://wowwowbakery.blogspot.com/ - I have yet to buy from this bakery, but the photos seem nice!
