It is a leisure activity, but you can make money, or even a career out of it. But most of the tourney gamer take the best way which is study as number 1 priority and tourney gaming as side income or side career.
But if you are extremely talented in game like say quake, why not use the god's gift, and be a pro gamer? Or at least, compete in a tourney. Everyone has their own talent, we just have to find it and make use the best of it.
About the kids ponteng school just to play games at cc, i think they play mostly online games. I wonder where they got money to play at cc
