No offense, but I really think that e-sports can be a part-time career in our life as it's the way to show our passion in computer and console games.

I myself a student and having a scholarship with the bond to work with the company, but I see no point of stopping myself from joining e-sports tournament.

The most important thing, is the family support. After all, I look e-sports as a place to improve ourselves and make friends as well wink.gif

i donno lor coz i oways play bcoz of my passion to be the best in the world. i nvr thought of money though..

but funny enuff i won more than rm100k, been to 5 diff countries fully sponsored, have my own business, partnership in cybercafe, gaming media and etc etc.. and its all bcoz i really LOVE gaming.

in the end it all comes down to what do you want? why do you play games? do you play games bcoz of money? or do you play games bcoz you wanna be the best of the best of the best?

its funny that with all the negative vibes ppl try to put into gaming.. there are just some people who always maintain and profit for being true to their passion. ^^

lol
i doesnt meant just for quake
if u got passion in gaming career, i wouldnt stop you, i wont stopping you joining gaming compy anyway, its fun when joining compy.

but please, do take it as hobby 1st, dont influence young kids too much which take them away from study.

well, frozennoob, you just go to hell.

you guys like saying its a easy thing to goal.

p/s: getting champion need efforts. and jali, dont take your so many champion medal saying successful. i admit gaming is good., but not everything, gaming turn back when sponsor goes off...but when i see study kids ponteng and play game in cybercafe bcoz of tourney...seriously...it make me wonder future of msia. and yea..no offense to you jali, just sometimes reality do consider money in hand biggrin.gif

paaji, u insulting m'sia is it?

and ummm.... guardio, kids don't ponteng school for competitions, that only dumb #$^#%@ up kids does! they just fimd excuse to go to ponteng. How often do u see school kids go into tourney? However, i do agree that game must be taken as hobby but as for us gamers, how do u think we influence the kids? How often do u see articals bout esports posted in newspaper? How often do u see advertisments are shown in t.v nor radio? The matter of fact i see it, we don't influence the kids who have great bright future ahead of them it's all in them wether they wanna sopil it or not! Not us! It's all up to them and how their enviroment. Do you see any of us gamers influnce ANY kids around to join esports? It's all in the mind like they said. laugh.gif
