Hi, anyone knows any QiGong classes around the Cheras / Maluri / Connaught / Kuchai Lama area ? I'm interested in it, but do not want to travel far for classes.

I don't know any but I'll reply again once I ask my friends who are involved in such activity. Meanwhile, why do you want to learn Qi Gong? Are you inspired by the latest Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li? Kikouken!

How old are you? It's rare seeing young people interested in Qigong. Or not?

QUOTE(map @ Mar 5 2009, 09:03 PM) no no i want to learn too. they have it alot in klang, but it's only for auntie's and uncles and they converse in complex hokkien =_= i totally cannot understand =_= Lol. They have it near the Klang Hokkien Association and they speak normal Hokkien. If you live in Klang, you should know at least a lil' bit of Hokkien right? If you're really interested, you can join them mah. BTW, what's interesting about Qigong? For the fun or for the health? |

Without proper air intake, it's useless if you take the most nutritious food in the world. |

QUOTE(Kinetics @ May 25 2012, 07:32 PM) Yes. Previously my parents and I went for Qi Gong classes (in Mines Wellness Hotel), the 'sifu' always emphasized us on the correct technique/position while performing the exercise. Different exercise got different benefits (given you have performed the right technique), like lowering your blood pressure, exercising your internal organ and etc. Of course, incorrect position will damage your body parts instead. < that's what my sifu told us |

For those keen on learning Medical Qigong in KL area, you can check out http://www.wellnessmedicalqigong.com/
The courses are conducted in English, and you can learn how to self heal (and to further learn to do treatment if you want). As this is medical qigong, the emphasize is purely for health. Qigong can be categorized into 4 main areas - medical, spiritual, martial arts and scholar. This post has been edited by blueray: Jan 16 2018, 02:51 PM |
