Looks like cockpit view is the 'in' thing for racers these days. Good thing cuz I like cockpit view.

If you use the controller this game is pretty impressive. It's not built on the wheel. One of the best NFS game I can say. The cockpit view is a lot better than DiRT 2's. 3rd person view not too good because the devs said that this game is built base on cockpit view so less emphasize on that.

Also there's a trial lap to detect your skills so it's noob(like me) friendly too.

You can adjust the settings like brake assist, traction control, stability control, steering assist etc to suit your style.

I don't like drifting, too hard. I just skip them whenever I can.

I think you and I are the only 2 people who like this game more than DiRT 2

Shift's drifting is too hard I just give up but Dirt 2 is like driving on grease very hard to control especially when racing in Baja and 'here' like I want to throw the controller.

That's why I can only play this for 1+ hour each time. Prolonged pressing hurts my finger.
