i just talked to one of the ban leong managers which i know, and there is only one mamba.
they also dunno when its coming here, depends on singapore, but most probably may/june.

and malaysia? like i guessed before, credit card fraud.

i did open the mamba tho, too bad for u all who didnt follow me
height, length, width is the same as DA.
but from the middle right side to the bottom has been shaved off abit, so it feels lower and doesnt fill the palm as much...which to me feels more comfortable.

Didn't really test it out yet but first impressions was really good, from its aesthetics to sound.

I gotta say, for the size of the headset its very light, which its good as it doesn't pressure yer head.

As normally perception "light build = fragile", hopefully its not the case.

The sound, it has much better bass which great for action pack games (UnrealTournament3) and movies (Punisher). And the sound quality really clear.

And i really like the "braided" cables, which eliminate the tangled cords.

Can't really compared to my rm120bucks Plantronics headset which i previously used.

The biggest plus of this headset its very comfortable as all online-reviews stated that too

Hoping for BoomSlang 2009 Edition?.. (wireless).. heh

By think of it, BoomSlang has alot expansion to it, considering its wide-body.. can add those attachable weights, changable buttons, dual-batts for super long gaming sessions and etc. 

Imo, the only thing its cheaper in PCfair its GuildWars DA mice, rm185 nia, it seems every PCfair this mice its getting cheaper.. hmmmz

Anybody can tell,
If we bring Mamba to cc, we could straight away using it with it's functions (Eg. the key assign in its additional button) without the need to installing the driver or software in the cc's PC.
Is this true?

I understand all these mice can plug and play. But what about the software to assign function for the additional button?
For example, if i have assign 'Button 4' in the mouse as 'Num1' in my own PC, later when i bring it to cc, i plug and play the mouse. Is the 'Button 4' still act as 'Num1'?
And can i change it to 'Num2' in the cc. (All this can be done without the razer software/driver?)

That means it can only remember the last setting, but could not do a new setting without installing the software in cc. Am i right?

guyz need advise which razer mouse to choose. deathadder or lachesis? i need both comfort and performance...but comfort 1st lah...

why ppl complaining CopperHead got QC problem? what is QC stands for?

Whoa... RM470 may be a little too big of a jump... Will see, but at this point I think many will still go for the X8 for a high perf gaming mouse. RM470 is just insane...

there are A LOT of ppl who will buy mamba just for bragging rights, even tho at most they do is just surf the web.
same as those ppl who go out buy the latest processor, gfx card, mod their cases so look damn nice so they can shiok sendiri at home etc...but end up just surf web only

No need to be so kiasu, i went to LY today and look for my friend working there. ALL IT, Sri Comp, View Net... all got 2,3 pcs on this  1st week order stocks. Temporaly....still nobody buy yet (though many people see and touch).

Looks like Mamba is not as hot demand as xpected, xpect dealers will go down to RM 400 or lower(my friend said dealer cost is around Rm 390+) since market is very quiet...
