I found an advert in mudah.my selling psp posted by this guy named, Eng Wei Loon, offering his psp at rm499, he said it’s brand new with 4gb and complete accessories. On 24 Feb 09 night, I banked rm520 include postage into his account. The next morning I called for postage tracking code from him. But, he didn’t answer my calls. At night time, i tried calling again, he answered and said that he is working at day time as management level so he won’t pick up. But, he didn’t give me the track code as he said the psp was posted by his friend and the receipt wasn’t with him. The second day he offered me Nokia N96 at Rm880 as this is a bonus for buying the psp. I rejected this offer. By this moment, i sensed that something fishy about this guy. After that, i didn't get the psp after a week already. I tried calling him a lot of time at night time but he still didn’t answer. I suspect this guy is a scammer. On 1 march, i used another number and called this guy. Finally he answered. i asked where is my item. He requested me to send him the detail again to check. At night time, i called again and he explained the psp got rejected by pos laju cause they don't allow electrical appliances to be post from semenanjung to Labuan. Is this true? He added in that they will use another delivery service to post it to me, promising i will get it within this week. It's Wednesday already, i still haven't receive anything. Therefore, i might make a police report on him if he does not give me a reasonable explanation. Whoever knows this guy, please tell him that please compensate to me before I lodge a police case.

and btw,u must print his ad@mudah ASAP before he delete it.

did u go thru mudah.my or just straight bank in to him???

if transact under mudah.my, at least they can chase

but if u bank directly , then sad to say...less chance of return money

so COD/COC is recommended

i sent hp and webcam also but i had to use other courier service besides polaju. This guy said the parcel got rejected coz they scan tru and detect electrical motherboard (PSP). is it true that Melaka's pos laju so strict about postage?

RM499 for new PSP with 4GB memory stick, seriously where in this earth got such offer? Part of it, you are "blinded" by your "greed"... Sorry mate, just be careful next time, take this as a lesson, you won't get your $ nor ur PSP back from online scam like this

Added on March 7, 2009, 10:39 amactually the police ain't so bad la. depend on ur attitude and how u gain sympathy. bank surely won't help coz they only make profit. but once the court decided to accept the case, court can order bank to provide info. by then.... hehe.... the culprit hard to escape la. unless he goes oversea.

*to all those con man out there, do u think a few hundred ringgit is worthy for u to be wanted for the rest of your life? pls think carefully*

Really feel sorry about your case.

If can, better use COD for expensive item when you wanna trade in Mudah.

Mudah is not a safe place for trade, if really no choice just make sure you save all the SMS, email, acc. number, name, address and IC number for safety.
