Hi all,
I have a question to those using Rebel SIM or any TurboSIM type solution to unlock their phones.
Do you experience problems receiving calls using Rebel SIM/TurboSIM?
I am using Rebel SIM at the moment for my Iphone 3G and I did not realize it until recently that over the last month, I have not received any calls but been receiving SMSes to say that there were missed calls from many numbers. So, I called myself (I have two phones) and then it realized that it all the calls go to voice mail. Then I tested using the call forwarding function, and guess what? All calls were received at the forwarded number.
This is very weird.
a) I can call out (No problems)
b) I can use data (3G, GPRS and EDGE)
c) SMSes work
But cannot receive calls even when the signal is at full bar.
I am using Maxis with unlimited 3G package. I took out the SIM and it worked fine on my other phone.
Can anyone help me on this?
Appreciate that...
Thanks.
I have a colleague who bought an US iphone 3G, same problem as yours. He is using Maxis SIM.I have a question to those using Rebel SIM or any TurboSIM type solution to unlock their phones.

What he did is to disable 3G, then receiving calls no longer a problem.
My advise is:
use software unlock instead, that works better.
I am using an official unlocked iphone 3G on Celcom with no problem for in and outgoing calls with or without 3G/HSDPA
hope this help
