Microsoft has finally finished and compiled the RTM version of Windows Vista SP2 and Windows Server 2008. The full version string being 6.0.6006.18005, which company officials have confirmed is the final RTM version of SP2.
Currently circulating around popular BitTorrent websites, the final version is available in 32 and 64 bit versions. Microsoft is expected to announce public availability later this week.

It's not on TechNet download page yet, *sigh* It's either SP2 beta or RC only...

QUOTE SP2 includes ability to record data to Blu-Ray Disc media wow.. this is quite unexpectedly but still, Vista already giving the impression of bloatware, no matter SP1 or SP2, bloat is still bloat, comparing the bootup time of Win7 and Vista is always a big difference. The number of threads running in Win7 is even lower than Vista Home Premium. SP2 is perhaps the reason for existing genuine Vista users to stay with Vista for a little while, existing XP community would have to migrate to 7

Don't direct compare it with Win Vista.. As i'm a Vista user, don't feel the bloated like u said... As long as your pc spec is good, then no bad comment should give to Win Vista...

It's still 2.4+gb for 32-bit and 3.2+gb for 64-bit, it just install lesser stuff. Btw, what does bloat have to do with bootup time?

No more BSOD like XP
