advice to those using credit card : never default or u pay a very HEAVY price. Last time i defaulted 3 cards in 2005, HLBB, Eon and MBf with balance about 15k, 7k and 22k. Now i check outstanding balances already 3 or 4 times of amount I actually used because of late payment and penalty default charges. HLBB- 41k, Eon - 22k and MBf i dont want to know Call the banks already to ask how much to fully settle liao and officer can offer only 25% off. If want more discount have to appeal but chances very slim they would reduce more...... moral of story, no more credit card for life. Learn the hard and expensive way.....

QUOTE(tgeoklin @ Mar 18 2009, 04:54 PM) HLBB got some management issue in their card division previously but I heard its now back to norm, so ....... Ask EON & Mbf to withdraw their summons and promise to pay etc. If you got no assets whatsoever, just called their bluff and ask them to bankrupt you or sit down and talk etc. Now no choice but need to settle as low as possible (if banks have pity lor) because my new work place did financial background search and wants me to settle all card before confirm work anyone have contacts inside to get at least 50% off?

QUOTE(Reventon @ Mar 18 2009, 05:06 PM) in this hard time i bet bank would prefer getting back the money rather than suing you. But that's hell lotsa interest snowballed in three years. not really. sad to say, even when i appeal, banks more looking into how much profit they will make
