I have been using Citibank Credit Card for 10 years with a 15k credit limit. My application for Ambank Credit Card and 15k Quickcash however has been rejected. According to what i come to know they are approving the Quickcash based on what credit limit you can get for the credit card and not based what you earn monthly. I was quite dumbfounded with such stupid criteria. Anyday i can get a 20-30k loan from Citibank by a call. I just wanted to get the free LCD TV anyway.

Does anyone have inside contact with AMBank? They only want to approve 12k for my Quickcash application instead of 15k i'm applying for. Can't get the free LCD TV already. Damn.

QUOTE(nandayryu @ Mar 28 2009, 01:33 AM)
my sis used this citibank last time,if their credit never expired ,that would be great, what if they never ever terminate their services with u as well ?what would u say ?till my sis had to come down to KL to terminate it,all the way from sarawak tho. smile.gif called them thousand of times, nobody takes into account about the termination, citibank and maybank sucks to me .eventho am platinum users, but at least i prefer CIMB (eventho the rates is quite high) and my second choice would be RHB ,no platinum no credit card.

Your post sounds defamatory. Been a Citibank credit card holder for 10 years now. I had on various of times terminating my card due to their refusal to waive my annual fee. All i had to do is fax them a letter stating my intention and they will call me to confirm my cancellation. However, on those many occasions they will waive my annual fee and so here i am already 10 years of using Citibank Clear credit card. Their point never expires, attractive benefits for middle income earners and indeed very good customer service.
