yeah... i just called the customer service. According to her, all the application forms will be submitted to KL main branch for processing. The fastest way is to go there personally apply or send the forms via courier.

let me try ...and let u guys know the result smile.gif

hello guys... just wanna share with u guy on my exp to apply for AM bank credit card. i applied that CC coz i wanna get the special promo on HP laptop.

27/4 form submitted thru brance officer @ johor together with supporting docs. i was told it would be sent to HQ for processing the next working day. I called 3 days later. I was told my application not receive according to the CS's system. Maybe at that time already reached their HQ with first stage processing.
keep calling every 2 days... but no used. CS has no visibility of the status.

4/5 was told form received and under processing. i immediately asked the CS to help to expedite.

7/5 : pending for approval.
12/5 : card approved and sent to the branch.
15/5: it took 3 days to arrive at the branch.

so, in total it took about 3 weeks to get the card. Nothing can be done prior they update in the system (to acknowledge receive of the application form). So, those who want to apply for the credit card, be prepared to wait for 3 weeks. but i would say ambank service is LOUSY!!!

my english is lousy too tongue.gif

Hi guys ,

I earned about RM1.9k basic + rm200 for allowance =RM2.1k, about RM1.85k net income per month .

which credit card is suitable for me ? im looking for free cc without any annual fee charges .

Im interested in maybank CC since i receive my salary with maybank , however i don't think with my current salary they will approve it.
thanks a lot guys.

i think there are many local bank offers free for life (NO condition). A good choice will be Direct Access if you are a graduated student.

for more detail, u can refer to the front page of this thread.

Pretty neat, but perused through the t&c, so for those of u who are too lazy to read it :-

- You actually continue to earn points as usual on top of the rebate
- 10% wednesday, every other day 5%
- Limited to RM50 per month
- Further limited to a max pool of RM100,000. i.e Ambank as a whole will only payout RM100,000 rebates per month.

So if too many ppl sign up for this, well, you just get less =p

It's ok if not too many ppl are rushing for this though. Not too sure what's the figure like on total AmBank users

it should be no problem to be within the RM100k pool. I think there are not many people using AM bank credit card. I happened to apply this card due to other reason.
Let me try first....
