see carefully the reply. Both answer to different question doh.gif
If you want the bank to give equal or higher CL, better wait 3 months after the date you receive the CL increment.  this is to make sure the system has been updated with your recent CL.

Agreed ... I got hit by this with my new Alliance Bank cc. My CL is well under 50% of my highest cc / reference card that I used to apply. I fact I used 2 cc as reference and Alliance Bank still quote me lower. It bothers me for a while but heck realistically I only need RM10K on that card and free entrance to airport lounge was the best feature. I figured, it can't be that bad.

I'll revert to my experience using the Plaza Premium Lounge in KLIA later.

Is this the reason why most banks are suggesting rejected CC applicant's to wait for 6 months before considering to apply again?

They must give you a form which declares the promotion and you actually have to sign on the form! This is a standard SCB practice to avoid any disputes. If they just give you word of mouth then ... you get the idea lor.  hmm.gif

just happen to me today. I applied for 1 CC only and I've read the declaration form and confident that the agent has marked and show to me I only applied for 1 CC. Suddenly SCB approved and sent to me 3 CC mad.gif

i'm not very clear about SCB Just1 titanium. do the retailers in Malaysia have an option to purchase using debit or credit card? my understanding, paying with debit card means using credit card channel (MC/Visa) but the fund is deducted from account.

Seems no one here have this card yet so nobody is sharing their experience yet.
I'm not particularly worried about this coz I'm sure the bank have gave it a thought already. BTW ... how's yr situation ?

So far haven't received any call from 'them'. this card so interesting but need more info before submitting application

Shared credit limit definately. SCB is not known to give individual credit limit to different held by 1 individual.

if that the case, chances to get a 2nd card (SCB Just One) should be higher if we already have a CC with them n exceed the min. salary requirement

SCB has put new outlook to their internet banking. I realized from there that we can pay Astro and TNB bills using CC, anyone has tried this before?

Added on June 2, 2009, 2:18 pmn i heard from a fren ... for overseas spending citibank charge a lower exchange rate compared to other banks? true ar? i tot the rate is determine by visa/master not the bank?

i noe hsbc charge another 1% n their rate is quite high compared to market exchange rate.

if you hold SCB Business Platinum, you will receive 0.5% cash back on every transaction except petrol. that the only advantage that I can think off

scb told me i cant cancel my visa plat  shocking.gif
he said its a card free for 3 yrs w/o any condition ... n ask me to cancel it onli after keeping it for 6mths above. wtf is this?

after insisting for cancellation a few minutes ... he said "ok,i will put down the reason as u din actually apply the visa plat" n b4 i finish my question he hanged up  vmad.gif

so if the cancellation being proceed or he juz put tht down n hafta wait another fella to call me to cancel? damn scb la ... so tulan now feeling wanna cancel all their cc n write to thestar bout their stupid service ( but the rebate on titanium stil so tempting  cry.gif )
*
bro, just called 2-3 times and they can definitely cancel it on the spot. I suggest you to go to the nearest branch and fill in the cancellation letter. In the Just one application form stated that annual fee waiver subject to min transaction RM 42 per day. hopefully it can be accumulated as one year transaction of RM 15 K+++, otherwise I don't think many people can afford to use their card every day

thanks for ur reply. urm i think my question not very clear.. what i want is a credit card. and use for mostly only for petrol. and maybe in 2/3 months sometimes buy shirt, restraurant & others. and also for emergency use.

do u think i will get a CC? with salary <<RM2k. if can which CC to take?
*
CIMB Direct Access is one of the best option for you. your salary must be more than RM1.5k per month for any CC. look at their website and you can apply through email

I just being approved AMEX MBB Ikhwan, haven't take the card yet from the branch. once I saw AMEX Gold card, i feel like want to own this card because its benefit is far more better than AMEX ikhwan. but not sure whether I got the chances to have this card since they already approved me AMEX Ikhwan

i just applied AMEX Gold CC from maybank....if u're existing maybank cc cardholder & Saving account, no need any document...just fax them back only the application form....

this card is good...becoz it combine all the benefits....... no need to choose between rates, rebates & rewards like Alliance bank younique CC....all in one card...(of coz no rebates la...but still ok what)...

i hope can get this card ASAP...so that can register for the AMEX 8x points promotion for petrol & groceries.....
*
you send it to the fax number of Maybank CC Centre?

by the way you mentioned existing MBB CC holder can apply without other supporting docs. how you indicate that in the form?
