Hi There,
Am on behalf on my friend. He has a Credit Card Debt more than Rm5K, which was balloon from Rm2K for past 2 years when he didn't make any payment, all the late payment charges and interest coming in resulting outstanding of that high amount.
The thing is, the CC is a supplementary card from his father, which right now, is there any problem for him to apply a credit card, because previously he only had a supplementary card debt.
Kindly advice.

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ May 5 2009, 02:22 PM) @blueice_gen, Your friend shouldn't have problems getting a CC. However, if he still has outstanding debts, I strongly advise against it. @fauzistt, You will have to bear the finance charges for the RM10. You could always try asking the bank to give you a waiver Hi Tinkerbel, However the debt is a Supplementary Card, he never own a CC before, only Supplementary Card from his dad, so, will it be a issue when he apply one? by right no issue right?

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ May 5 2009, 07:14 PM) @blueice_gen, It shouldn't be a problem since the debt isn't under his name. Now that you mention it, BNM should start tracking all these people too Yeah, but i still not sure.. anyone can clarify and double confirm?
