I wonder what is the best cash rebate cc in the market now and what is the rebate rate like.
At the matta fair, applied RHB, HSBC, CIMB Enrich & Direct Access, HLB cards. Wonder which is better.
Got my direct access approved and card received within 1 week!

QUOTE(eddievh @ Mar 22 2009, 12:12 PM) Thanks for the link. What a useful guide to people like us. Having perused, I found myself being cheated by Allianz sales, who claimed that I was entitled for a cash back of 2% per transaction!

I got irritated by Allianz bank.
What happened was i submitted my application form, with my 3 months of pay slip (till march) and my EPF statement for 2008.
I rec a call from Allianz asking me to submit my EA form as the figure appears on my salary slip and EPF statement do not correspond.
I gave them a lecture saying that of course, the figure cannot be telly as the EPF statement is for 2008 and payslips is till 2009.
By looking at my salary, is sure that i can get at least a gold card. so i told them is fine. i dont want it.

Received my HSBC card today. Weird that the limit granted is actually lower than what the other banks gave. Wondering...

QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Apr 1 2009, 01:22 PM) Yes, S&C called to offer me last month, but after reading the T&C and min income, I did not proceed. Why and mind sharing?

QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Apr 1 2009, 01:25 PM) 1) No point for me to hold so many CC. I already have several backup CC and plan to cancel some. 2) The 60k annual income min limit is too low 3) Do not foresee a need for S&C CC in future use, although I have an existing M1 a/c. IC u are looking for a 'better' platinum card. The promotion is quite tempting tho, i.e. RM50 cash on credit card with a free saving account, with RM30 in it. I did not apply as it is inconveniet for me.

QUOTE(santaclaus @ Apr 1 2009, 01:45 PM) wat S&C did is worsening the platinum and gold card status. ( although they had visa infinite which the requirement is almost the same as other bank's platinum ) this make platinum dun look exclusive anymore I agree. On the other hand, they are trying to attract those users, who are desparately for Platinium to apply due to the degrade of the requirement.

QUOTE(conxtion @ Apr 1 2009, 06:00 PM) Just go to those CC counters you find in shopping malls and ask them to apply for you. UOB plat should be easy to get, income required is RM18k. U joking me! 18k for a Plat!!!
