Hmm ... I see. Alright, thanks for sharing the info. Will be looking forward to sign up soon .. |

QUOTE(bingozero @ May 27 2009, 12:54 PM) If you using Shell petrol, apply for Citibank Shell credit card. It is rebate 5% on petrol and 1.5% on retail Hmm .. I see. I came across this bank's offer during roadshow at Lowyat Plaza but yet the agent aren't been able to explain to me in detail how does it work out. In the end, I give up .. since they are confused with it as well. Citibank Shell credit card QUOTE(tinkerbel @ May 27 2009, 01:03 PM) @HughieRmX, Greetings tinkerbel,General online transaction? Meaning, transacting in foreign currency or local currency? If it's in foreign currency, I suggest you go for UOB because they don't charge additional 'service' fees when U do a foreign transaction, unlike the rest of the banks. Hmm .. I would say both. But mostly 70% will be on local currency, the rest foreign. Thanks for the suggestion, really appreciate that. I guess that card is not suitable for me right ? .. QUOTE(Aeon_Clock @ May 27 2009, 01:17 PM) Shell CitiBank Card requirements for the 5% rebate:- Thanks for the quick brief over there. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I'd rather go for CIMB DA Mastercard which gives 2% all the time, every petrol brand. Plus the card is free for life. or RHB TravelMoney - 5% on the first weekend, and 2% on any other day, every petrol brand too. Maybank Petronas card is good for points only. I'm not sure if you can use Bonuslink card at the station if u use this card... pls read the terms and conditions before recommending a card. Appreciate that .. and to my surprise I thought what they offer are flat rate but now after reading this it totally changed my thinking. Guess that the standard % of rebate will range in between 2% to 3% for most of the CC that involves in the petrol rebate concept. QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ May 27 2009, 01:20 PM) Hmm .. heard of it but haven't encounter any friend of mine using it. What so special about it anyway ? .. Rebate for GSC tickets or extra VIP service ? |

QUOTE(ellimist @ May 27 2009, 09:23 PM) Yea doesn't matter. But it's only for the first 6 months from the time you get your card. I suppose it's their way of sucking you into using their card, accumulating points with it, then feeling reluctant to change back to other cards =p Agreed !! That's how people got influenced by them .. QUOTE(lcl832002 @ May 27 2009, 11:12 PM) This promotion period applies to previous owners as well. But, so far, RHB keeps extending the promotion period. Actually the promotion ended last February. Hmm .. I see. That doesn't really sound reasonable if apply credit card with such feature but ended up based on promotion period. QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ May 28 2009, 08:50 AM) Yup got rebate but not sure how to calculate... Hmm .. I see. Useful for those Movie Geeks .. Below RM10 ticket u get RM0.50 rebate and some others, but UOB also are giving 5% rebate. Anyway, yes EON-GSC card has special VIP lane (with red carpet lolz). Anyway .. VIP Special lane with red carpet for Fast Lane service is it ? .. or there is always Free Premiere show or VIP Class one ? |
