my sis used this citibank last time,if their credit never expired ,that would be great,what if they never ever terminate their services with u as well ?what would u say ?till my sis had to come down to KL to terminate it,all the way from sarawak tho.

called them thousand of times,nobody takes into account about the termination,citibank and maybank sucks to me .eventho am platinum users,but at least i prefer CIMB (eventho the rates is quite high) and my second choice would be RHB ,no platinum no credit card.
I have mixed opinions about Citibank but they are not that bad to the extent someone has to fly a few hundred km's just to cancel their card. (Not to mention it was hard to understand what were you trying to say in the remaining of your post) Even if this were true, perhaps there are some special serious circumstances that your sister need to deal with Citibank.
Whatever it is ... your story does not hold well given even the most horrible experience that I had with Citibank.

@maru,
When U oredi have an existing CC it's easier for banks to give you a CC. Also, I noticed most banks tend to match existing CL - which in a way is not very good. You can be drawing a RM5k salary but have up to RM100k in CLs

Not necessarily tinkerbel. My new card from Alliance bank is only about 41% of my existing highest credit limit. I used 2 cards as reference and even using the second card which had a lower credit limit, Alliance Bank only gave me a credit limit of 52% of that reference limit.
Guess it depends on the bank's policy when it comes to providing credit limit. (I'm slightly disturbed with my lower credit limit)
