Any chance if monthly income is about 5k can have a credit limit more than 20k? Which bank give the most CL to their customers ? any advice ?
*
The monthly income will need to be steady income of RM5k. Banks will probably discount if it is coming from sales commission and the likes because the probability for it to be non-sustainable (not fixed) is high.

@maru,
When U oredi have an existing CC it's easier for banks to give you a CC. Also, I noticed most banks tend to match existing CL - which in a way is not very good. You can be drawing a RM5k salary but have up to RM100k in CLs smile.gif

well maybank did give free CC if they think u are qualify...

2-3 of my fren also get free CC from maybank without applying it,

i think first of all u must have maybank saving account for some certain time
more than 5 years i think,

2nd of it i think u need to have some certain amount it in

well i do come across that if u save a certain amount FD for maybank, then they can issue u the CC and the CL is based on the amount u put in FD.

my sis used this citibank last time,if their credit never expired ,that would be great, what if they never ever terminate their services with u as well ?what would u say ?till my sis had to come down to KL to terminate it,all the way from sarawak tho. smile.gif called them thousand of times, nobody takes into account about the termination, citibank and maybank sucks to me .eventho am platinum users, but at least i prefer CIMB (eventho the rates is quite high) and my second choice would be RHB ,no platinum no credit card.

I don't know what are you talking about smile.gif Citibank has one of the best customer service around and your calls would normally get through. Maybe it's 10 years ago or you got the wrong number to call (03-2383 0000)

Your post sounds defamatory. Been a Citibank credit card holder for 10 years now. I had on various of times terminating my card due to their refusal to waive my annual fee. All i had to do is fax them a letter stating my intention and they will call me to confirm my cancellation. However, on those many occasions they will waive my annual fee and so here i am already 10 years of using Citibank Clear credit card. Their point never expires, attractive benefits for middle income earners and indeed very good customer service.

I have mixed opinions about Citibank but they are not that bad to the extent someone has to fly a few hundred km's just to cancel their card. (Not to mention it was hard to understand what were you trying to say in the remaining of your post) Even if this were true, perhaps there are some special serious circumstances that your sister need to deal with Citibank.

Whatever it is ... your story does not hold well given even the most horrible experience that I had with Citibank.

Not necessarily tinkerbel. My new card from Alliance bank is only about 41% of my existing highest credit limit. I used 2 cards as reference and even using the second card which had a lower credit limit, Alliance Bank only gave me a credit limit of 52% of that reference limit.

Guess it depends on the bank's policy when it comes to providing credit limit. (I'm slightly disturbed with my lower credit limit)

Hello,
I use Pay Pass at KFC counter, it fails for me.
Anyone know what reason? Is that a tapping card reader problem or my card problem?
Thank you.

I think that only applies if you do happen to have substantial financial resources other than a regular salary or maybe are the son or daughter of so and so tongue.gif

Actually if you already have 1 or 2 cards which has astronomical limits ie. which already maxed out your perceived financial capability then all subsequent cards will probably come with lower limits, or even rejections in a worst case scenario
