@ Tinkerbel,

y ar? im also not sure.

but the proper way is using company money to pay directly. as company is a separate entity, not belong to you.

there is no problem if one uses his/her credit card to pay company bills or bill issued in the name of the company as long as the amount reimbursed to the individial is the same amount. Is the same as if the individual when to pay bills using cash and the company reimburse him/her later.

Actually, the individual benefits from doing above as he/she will get reward points and at the same time no loss or gain for the company comes end of financial year.

I used to pay my own flight ticket, hotel bills, meals, etc. while travelling for work. At that time, my points were accumulating fast. Now no more, sit in office. sweat.gif Points slow-moving already.

I don't think that will matter.

You can also use your company card to swipe for personal stuffs as long as you pay back.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

not really will be at 18th of June , however you may call up CS to check with them, using online banking to see the bill cycle date, or just wait the statement reach your mailbox.

@vin_ann,
I volunteered to 'inconvenience' myself to make such payments for the office; I just have to make sure I do not claim twice or that would make it CBT. Otherwise, someone in the office just needs to go to the post office which is quite far away [last time, post office was downstairs but the new office is in a 'jungle'] hence to make things easier, I offered to pay the bills using my M2U or CC.

Then again, I've been with the same boss for almost a decade so perhaps the trust is there? *shrugs*

@David83,
Absolutely right! And I haven't gotten into any kind of trouble.

To those holding the Citibank-Giant credit card, please be informed that the maximum rebate for the card in one year is capped at RM600. I didn't receive any rebate for my spending in the last few months due to this. So Sad!

RM60k to spend @ Giant is indeed quite a bit but well, perhaps she changed all her electrical items?! On groceries alone it might not be so possible but with the many items Giant sells, it's not 100% impossible! tongue.gif

Then it's just better to get the Standard Chartered JustOne, since it's 2% rebate for all retail purchases and you need not limit your shopping at Giant biggrin.gif

You just have to fully settle your cc debt and your application can be approved then. tongue.gif

60k spent in Giant within a few months? I wonder what the most expensive stuff in Giant is. Besides purchasing electrical and furniture items, she's probably involved in F&B business which requires her to buy in bulk on a very frequent basis.

Please note that max cash rebate of SCB Just1 is capped at RM600 per year.

I tried to use this cc at both Shell counter and self-service terminal, but it failed. It has been confirmed that Shell doesn't recognise this cc for the time being.
