Yeap I am. Time to hammer curl more for your left then I guess heh.
*
QUOTE(JonYeap @ May 6 2009, 11:14 PM)
vincent, i learn from someone that says, if u r weaker in another hand, in other to make it stronger, do additional rep on that hand or maybe additional set.
example if u dumbell curl 3 set 10 rep.
maybe ur left hand can go for 4 set 10 rep, or 3 set 12 rep?

learn this from my kickboxing actually. haha...
i am weaker at my left sides, so i am asked to include additional 2 reps for every exercise in my training.
*
yea i noe... thanks for the tips

i did ask at here b4...

its jz tat i jz got to measure it 2day... n realise the size is the same blink.gif

Upright rows are good IF you do not lift the barbell to the shoulder level. Then that will cause rotator cuff problems.Up to mid sternal level is fine. They're great for adding height to the trapezius. The wider your grip the more the focus will shift to your side delts. Johnny Jackson loves doing these (wide grip). It depends where you wanna hit. Delts or traps.

And boss, why intimidated? I sucked in my fear facing all the big guys in the gym when i was 45 kilos. Just go in, lift what you can, get out, eat and grow.
*
if using dumb bell increase til shoulder like how it is demonstrated here;

http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/exerpop.ph...ell+Upright+Row

bad for rotator cuff?

5kg is for you lah, Pizzaboy. Haha!
He suggested 1kg a day. That's about RM4 a day. Can lah.

What's the price of bananas in Msia anyway? I never bought bananas when I was in KL. I just eat what my dad bought. =P

I move to a new apartment. No freaking gym nearby. And too busy cleaning up and buying stuff.
Do the No Excuse until I shudder everytime I think about it. X^D
*
so eating 5kgs of banana for bulking? haha...

btw, hw u guys handle banana? cz if i were to take 2 or 3 everyday, if i buy 1 bunch, the rest will go wasted since it wont last long...

Keep the bananas well ventilated and cool.
Bananas produce ethylene, which ripens them. And it can release into the air and make nearby bananas ripen faster.

5KG is A LOT! That's probably more than all the food you eat in a day! X^D
*
yea i noe... i dun think i can glup it down even when it is in liquid form, banana shake perhaps? haha...

ok, so means i have to keep the whole bunch in the fridge?

Stumbled upon something worth reading... at least for noobs like me.

30 best gyms in US by Men's Health.
http://www.menshealth.com/bestgyms/

I couldn't care less about the best gym & what not.
But when you click on each gym, the are little snippets of tips and pointers worth reading.
30 pointers from 30 coaches is definitely worth checking out.

hai guise. one Q. how much difference will be for a barbell squat and a smith rack squat?
*
i am not pro, but i think it is cz smith squat, u dun need to stabilize urself since the smith rack do that for ya...

u need ur stabilize muscle (core muscle?) for normal squat (without any other support of course)
