I so totally agree. Try it out. Laser or optical is your choice. If you like it, then save up a little more, but you will be much happier.

u can have a look at OCZ Behemoth..its Laser wit 3200dpi
and most important is dirt cheap

in terms of comfort i'd say the ikari. performance maybe g5 or ocz. but im not sure anything baout the ocz as ive never had my hands on it. mx518 n g5 comfort shud be identical. just different materials used on each.

ikari +10 comfort

Still testing the OCZ Behemoth...not too bad for Ergo...but for smaller hand it will be hard to hold the mouse...
Its actually ur personal preference..its either u like it or hate it when u hold on to it..

Razer dont want to add...its one damn good gaming mouse

I've tried from DA > G5 > DA > Ikari laser.
So IMO, the comfort level is Ikari laser > G5 > DA.

But it's still up to the self-preference.
