Nintendo DS Screen(s) are black when on with no sound but the lights to indicate the power is on. Anyone have any ideas on the problem?

How is the light?
Is it blinking green, stable green or red?

Stable green, just as it is on.

have you check your volume setting?

if still no sound, most likely your speakers not working... return it to the shop you get it, and seek professional help.

Its not only the sound problem the screens also black(no light coming out). I already tried changing the volume tab. I didn't get mine from shop, my parents redeem from credit card and used since last year already so no warranty.

then obviously it's a faulty unit.

cant you send it back to the reward company?

I redeemed a faulty electronic item via CC points b4, and had it return and replace.
