To date, there is no statistic report for gtx285 failure rate. So can't say yet. But gtx280 confirm the highest. Gtx260 wise i cant remember, but its rma rate is definitely in the range of norm

Bro did u oc ur gtx 275? Did u use drive cleaning software b4 installing the newer one? How's ur card temperature?
*
I'm using XFX GTX 275 and I never oC it . Its on its default setting

GPU clock - 640mhz
Memory clock - 1134mhz
Shader - 1404mhz

I directly install the new driver after formatting my pc ( my pc is brand new ) So I suspect either is hardware problem or its the driver who playing nuts with me.
About the temperature is roughly around 45-48c during Idle and play game like The Last Remnant gone up to 70c..i guess that's pretty normal ?

*
I'm using corsair TX 650w. Looks like I got this problem no matter what game I play. FC2, L4D, The last remnant...i haven play with crysis yet...takrak the cd now
this is what fault

" Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

QUOTE(Pro-MX @ May 16 2009, 02:40 AM)
70 celcius is very normal....mine is higher than that.....probably a driver issue or the problem is the game itself...maybe u can try updating the game as well
*
I think is the driver issue or the card itself...will new card have some burnt smell ? lolz I understand like those machine is brand new will have those - new kind smell from factory - lol..

It looks like things got stable after i downclock a lil bit lol....testing on 3games and none show the error yet...tomorrow i'll test for a longer time.
Besides that, I also disable the multi gpu option.
Thanx dude

Your computer wont be noisy ? I set on 60% already hear the graphic card sound lolz

QUOTE(selfdz87 @ May 22 2009, 08:40 PM)
mine kenot adjust the fan speed... cry.gif
always at 40% all time use autofan speed...
when ill try to adjust it manually to 80% the  noise level still same as 40%... rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

Isn't this a good thing ? 80% fan speed = 40% fan speed noise = not noisy lolz
unless you set 80% fan speed but is still running on 40% fan speed lolz
