lol, you are merely repeating what RegentCid has stated. If you stated that 65nm oc just as good as 55nm, then I can agree on that. but theoratically 55nm should oc better than 65nm. Due to smaller die, 55nm draws less power and produce less heat, these in returns leaves a head room for more oc'ing. No doubt that it was mentioned by Fudzilla that early reference desgin of GTX 285 and GTX 260 (55nm) can oc only the same as their 65nm counterpart, but there are also alot of reported higher oc in other forums.
So again, a link to show and prove that 65nm is more superior than 55nm would be great. thx

well,tested both 55nm and 65nm.
55nm GTX260 Sonic Dual Fan oc to 710mhz BSOD
65nm GTX260 Stock fan oc to 740mhz and still going smile.gif

Thanks for selling me the cooler.

I certainly believed that it was worth voiding the warranty to have my card running a lot cooler than most stock coolers.

U mean PhysX rite?? I see some video reviews, those ppl set up using the 9800GT or 9600GT card as a PhysX card

QUOTE(Aura @ Mar 27 2009, 11:26 AM)
The highest Acey can go is 9800GT (for single slot card solution that is)....

thanks for answers smile.gif
but....let's say i got a 8400GS and a 8800GT,both set to PhysicX,got different? since both card performance is far away.

How to adjust fan speed of my GTX285?
*
By using Riva tuner and adjust the fan speed to direct control instead of auto.

Here is a photo of my casing without the side panel as promised:

Noticed how tightly the GPU fit into the casing.

I am using Cooler Master CM R690.

Bro,dont set like that, put ur sound card to last line of the PCI,cause the PCB and the back memory chip of 285 generate a lot of heat, better dont put on top of it.

well i think u'll have to apply some force cuz sometimes the thermal paste kinda hardens and stick together.

wow. no wonder. so that makes u the first person in malaysia to own it. somehow u got it from overseas or someone sent it to u to do review or?

btw ya, gtx285 generate a hell lot of heat. my northbridge temp is very affected by it.

btw, out of topic; acecombat is a gal?

yup,but officially owned by bro kianweic now rclxms.gif
Arctic Cooling sent me to do a review one smile.gif

What's wrong if i'm a meimei? wub.gif
