i play all my games on 1920x1080,even crysis and crysis warhead,far cry 2.but the most AA setting i can set is 4x oni.any higher thn tht i'm like back to my 6600gt days

owh rly?i dont know anythg bout resolution effecting the iq .i set 2x AA for crysis and crysis warhead.8x AA for far cry 2,and the rest is 16xQ for other games .all games on dx10 mode if available

im using this driver on 2233sw as well.after i update it i got black bars around also.here's how to solve it

go into nvidia control panel,at side panel,choose resize HDTV desktop,select resize my desktop,then click it.drag the bars until ure satisfied and then ur done.after tht jz leave it as it be or u can select bck do not resize my desktop.

btw i find nvidia system tools vry nice for oc-ing the gc as well.after u set ur desired clock got message come out asking u wheter wanna load the saved setting at windows startup.whats makes it better thn rivatuner (IMO) is evrytime windows start up and load no UAC message to click unlike rivatuner

is not drag the black bar .u can go try in nvidia control panel now and u noe what i mean

ref cooler spice it up to 100% and u can hear the roaring loud and clear

bring it down to 90% and its silent.strange huh

maybe its silent to my perspective only .and futhermore my casing is on the floor + some not so silent 12cm fans.

but still after i raise it up to 100% the gc noise can be still heard though not so obvious as the time before i changed my fans (the old 1s are silent)

the 55nm have some modifications to the ref cooler if im not mistaken.posted few pages back.less heatsinks

reduce it to 90%

i set my fan to 90% duno for how long edi.maybe 1 month? still no prob,jz hope the fan will last long

lol.nt kedap noise.my 12cm fan cover up the noise edi ,but its not rly tht noisy also

its silent for 80% or even 90%.the noise is only obvious when is 100%

the vapour-x like sports car meh?i though its jz a square piece of plastic lol,almost like gtx200 stock cooler.

anyway don't mind the design as long it delivers its performance
