humm, imho, the extra memory could be for higher reso gaming, or maximum AA/AF setting, or some games just demand more vram
*
thats why lo.. we dun have to wait until we need it only go and find money and change to a higher card. get a higher memory ready is always recommended

its either resolution or your fps (frame per second).. try pressing the 'auto adjust' button on your monitor

Nvidia gc cannot support 1080p cos the HDMI is just a conversion of DVI. It just a marketing gimmic. HDMI enable not 1080p enable. Furthemore you cannot boot using HDMI port in GTX295.

all the graphic cards on the market now only HDCP. i hav my notebook which is only 8600GT and there is a HDMI port built. so i always use HDMI cable to connect between notebook and my HP h2408h. i never see a problem of distortion or whatsoever..

guys im tyring out the 185.66 beta driver. im using gtx285 on a vista 64bit with samsung 2233sw native resolution of 1920x1080.

the problem is there will be for black bars around my screen if i run at native resolution. i tried setting other resolutions and everything appears fullscreen, but just the 1920x1080 resolution where my screen will become smaller with 4 black bars around. what could be the problem? or maybe i should just change back to stable driver...  cry.gif
*
bro.. its because of your monitor. i bet u r using 16:10 type of monitor same goes to the one im using when i set to 1920x1080 then will have blaCK bars but mine only on top and bottom like HD movies style. if u wanna solve the prob u must get a 16:9 monotor wink.gif

Well erm, If I put some cup of water, the water level will drop after few hours of usage...
*
the water level in cup will drop because surrounding is very dry therefor the air is sucking the water instead of sucking our body's water

im a nvidia fan here. but one thing i dont like is that why nvidia cannot add port like direct hdmi and displayport like ati have?

i know we can use hdmi using the converter given but your monitor will dont have 'auto' auto-adjustment and sound directly from monitor. am i right?

haizz.. i still hope they release GC with those port

really tht possible?gtx260 is 216 sp while 275 have 240 sp.if oc can archieve almost the same performance thn i think not realy tht worth it to forge out the extra rm500+ for a 275

btw cex already start orders for zotac gtx275 (non amp! edition),rm1.2k
*
why rm500?? palit 260 sonic is rm700++ and palit 275 is only rm900++

i think the sp we cannot oc rite? only clocks can be oced..

and bad drivers they have.. i've experience my fren's 4870 last week in singapore. whenever alt+tabbing it will stucked there for seconds.

and upgrading from 260 sonic to 275 is not a good decision. at least a 285 bcoz its 1gb and 512-bit

omg, nice price for GTX275.

GTX275 now is a better deal than GTX285, since they are very close to each other  brows.gif
