Don't get this if you have a full HD. That model is for 1920x1200. It only supports 16:10 not 16:9. I made the same mistake without realizing it didn't support 16:9. My picture looks pretty crappy.

Can the 2409 support pure 1920x1200 VGA? If it can then go for the 1920ex. Otherwise I suggest looking for a VGA box that upscale and output to 1920x1080 (difficult as hell, I personally also don't know any, because most 1920x1080 devices are TVs and they already have the necessary inputs to connect a Wii directly).

I'd suggest using VDigi only if you don't plan on playing some old GC games. Since it cannot convert interlace to progressive, many VGA montior cannot support interlace, and some old GC games will only run in interlace mode. If you plan to play all, a VGA box is better, since it will upscale interlace to progressive.

Do you guys no how to properly install this to my laptop?

It's not meant to be used this way -.-
The device is for monitors to receive video from component, S-Video and Composite in- in other words, a VGA box. Not for video capturing to laptop display. You're better off fitting the laptop with a good PCI Express or USB video capture card with component in. Also hard to find, tho.

Do you think I an still use this to atleast get 3x3 picture in picture in my existing LCD tv?

You can try. There's no harm done if everything is connected correctly. I'm planning to get a VGA box for my TV as well, because the TV has a unused VGA port and only one set of component connectors which is already occupied. A VGA box can give me a second set of the much needed component connectors. Eyeing one with both a component connector and a DVB-T tuner.
