I'm using Catalyst Vers 8.12 . it was known to be stable so i didn't update it.

My GC is Gigabyte HD 4850 512mb DDr3 .

Stock Speed 625/993

I believe I OC till any level will have that error.

anyway, the last OC was 720/1100 if not mistaken, was change back to default cause of that error.

Might be it's not a stable OC...

Try to lower it a notch by notch & then stress test it...

You'll never know for sure that OC any level will have that error until u test it throughly...
Update the driver is a very good idea for starter btw

Just a little patience & prudence might solve it, gdluck...

that level of OC was proven to be stable by CCC.

and it's just about 18% OC from the stock, so i believe it won't be considered a real stress level of OC right.

anyway, thanks for the advice. if i had the time i'll retry OC my GC.

but in the meant time i hope there would be another alternative solution for the error i had occurred to be fixed.

mem too high..try OC core only..CCC only do a bit stress..still cannot give the stress as high as a benchmark/real game..

alright, i'll try it once i had the time.

anyway, are you sure CCC only stress a bit?

because the info written there was full load at about 97% . same shown by Lavalys.

full load for a short while will nvr be the same as gaming..it's like doing IBT only for a few loop..means it can run at that clock speed..but will nvr ensure it is stable..

CCC stress test is useless.Use furmark stability test mode to really stress ur card.
