When u take a designing course in singapore, it is compulsory to get a macbook coz its good for designing and editing software. Presentations are easier to do too. You dont use it for gaming, u leave the gaming to ur DESKTOP. A laptop isnt practical for gaming, so it becomes mainly used for work purposes

Polys in singapore give half subsidies for laptops, so if u buy it from the poly, the macbook is quite cheap. But since my friend works for the Singapore Press Holdings as a student photographer... after seening him use the macbook to edit his pictures, looks more efficient.
