Personal experience

Before SP1

It seems it has the limit on how many windows that i opened at one time

After SP1

No more such limit, i can open as many windows as i wanted

Asus is the only Taiwanese brand that i will consider...

Performance for the price that a person's pay, worth more than HP, in my opinion

Asus finishing is interesting, they come out fancy looking cover...

They released one laptop model with small second screen on its cover...

They released one laptop model with leather like finishing on its cover

Last year, they released one laptop model with bamboo motives on its cover

I say Toyota, their production method is an envy to many companies in the world...


Quality wise better than Acer

PC Fair is good for big ticket purchases, but not for small items like peripherals...

I say, want to get laptops but want more goodies, go for PC Fair, other than that, maybe Lowyat can offer better price...

No idea, as i never really own Asus

Today got small car fair...

I don't really like Vios...

Audi interior quality is better than Benz, of course, those who just buy because of brand, always prefer Benz, if not BMW

If i have money, i buy a condominium in KL Sentral and rent it

New City in terms of look and practicality, i am never a fan of centre speedometer....

That is why new City helps Honda Malaysia's sales a lot...over 50% of their sales, came from new City...

Proton Saga, doesn't look that bad, at least from interior, different from normal Proton which is crap

In future...KL Sentral will have shopping mall, St. Regis hotel and CIMB building

Yes, a free hold, landed property is always better than a condominium of course...

Well, if got money, maybe a home in USJ or Bandar Utama....TTDI, too expensive eh

Looks wise, i think it is more practical than past Protons...

Gen2, Savvy and to certain degree, Satria Neo are all sales flop...

Gen2 was ill designed in the first place, while Savvy design was not liked by many Malaysians and Satria Neo, well, Malaysians do not really buy a small hatchback that can fit only two adults and rear, small kids...

I always have a mind of purchasing a brand that is not popular among Malaysians, but popular in overseas...for example..

Camera, i opt for Casio or maybe in future, Pentax or Olympus

Car, maybe Peugeot or luxury car, Audi

New MPV, i think it is conservative enough for family buyers...Proton cannot afford to design something different just for the sake of being different, we all know how Savvy fared in Mareshia...

Proton is improving (more mainstream than previous sportiness) , but in this Exora, i am worried of the quality, not necessarily bad, but will it worthy of RM 7x,xxx? Time will tell (next month)

Otherwise, in terms of specs, it easily trumps Livina...especially the in car entertainment and cup holder issue

Gen2 flaws

- Strange door opener
- Samurai (Keris?) style handbrake
- No key opening for rear boot
- Lack of rear headroom
- No glovebox
- Questionable quality like windows, finishing
- Driving position

Most of these problems were recitified later during facelift in 2007 i think...

On paper, it is underpower, but Grand Livina also has 1.6 litre option (though it maybe lighter than Exora)

What matters, are how they tune the engine (torque curve) and gear ratio...

I heard this many times, but since i examined the proportions, design of lines....

I have to say, it is baseless...

I am sure most of the people that claimed they saw one is most likely because of this photo
