I tested CQ40, i like it...just a few hundred over small netbook, CQ40 performance is good!

Since my laptop is just under two years, it is still sufficient, but my next laptop, better be good for Windows 7....

Although i wont buy laptop soon, but i always set what laptop that is ideal for me every year, to make me alert of laptop arrivals...

Example..

2008 : Dell XPS
2009 : Sony Vaio CS

If Jam gets CQ40, i also suggested her to pour money on RAM upgrade...

I felt RM6K is too over for a laptop, of course different people has different requirements..

The optimum price range for a laptop for me is about RM 3500 to RM 4600, that's mid range and some high spec, if i am lucky...

After searching, i think Compaq will be the best for her...

Of course, i never ask her to get Acer

No wonder...

If i aiming at your price range, i am seriously considering Toshiba QOSMIO

In the past, i have a fetish on Made in USA, now........made in Japan

That's why i always focus on Japanese branded laptops...because i always think that they are reliable..

errr Toshiba laptops are quite well priced actually

Fujitsu is actually very popular for business users...at least from what i have seen during my visit to an office executives...

Lenovo is a close competitor too (IBM research facilities turn to Lenovo, but still in Japan)

at least they're cheaper den asus ill use any laptop if it isnt DELL nor ACER

It seems it has the limit on how many windows that i opened at one time

After SP1

No more such limit, i can open as many windows as i wanted

i just finished watching the dark knight so long only now i watch it.

Asus is the only Taiwanese brand that i will consider...

Performance for the price that a person's pay, worth more than HP, in my opinion

I consider Google successful because not only do they have a great product, they're making money from it. On top of that they attract a lot of bright minds to their company and have a great corporate culture. They know how to treat their employees. They don't mind trying out new things too, which is always a good thing to see.

I agree, gen2's design is horrid. Actually, I'm starting to hate the new trend of cars to have a high back. It makes it really hard to see what's behind you. The gen2 and persona are examples of this.

Yes, the savvy is one fugly car.

New MPV, i think it is conservative enough for family buyers...Proton cannot afford to design something different just for the sake of being different, we all know how Savvy fared in Mareshia...

Proton is improving (more mainstream than previous sportiness) , but in this Exora, i am worried of the quality, not necessarily bad, but will it worthy of RM 7x,xxx? Time will tell (next month)

Otherwise, in terms of specs, it easily trumps Livina...especially the in car entertainment and cup holder issue
