9600M GT isnt much more powerful than 8600M GT.It's pretty much pointless to get a 9600M GT if you have 8600M GT.

Aim for something higher like 4870 or 8800.

It's true.8800 >>>> 9600.

Thats why i say if you are serious in gaming on a laptop.You should aim for at least a 8800.Unless you are tight on budget.

Not everyone is doing a arts designing course.Macbook is overpriced.I doubt many engineering software work on Macbook.

I need a laptop for gaming as im traveling around.If not,a desktop would be so much better.

Im using a XPS M1530 now.

It was good as it's well priced for the stuff you get,but it suffered from GC and mobo failure.My mobo failed once and changed 2 HDDs.

Think twice before you get M1530 as it's also pretty old now.

M1330 is even worse as the GC problem is very severe.

Netbook are so much better.Small and portable.Long battery life too and it's decent for surfing net or office.
