QUOTE(panafone @ Mar 17 2009, 12:05 PM) i have this monitor and i must say i don't notice the lag. i've had it for a year and it has never bothered me in cod4. and mine is the first gen one. yup, for most people it's not going to matter. but hardcore fps players are probably gonna feel it, as a fraction of a second can be the difference between getting a headshot or getting headshotted i think this lcd has around 50-60ms lag. now when you switch on the lights in your house, from the moment you press the light switch to the light bulb turning on is 100ms (i read this somewhere, can't remember where though). just think about that. i think most people's "lag" experience is due to either internet connection lag or insufficient graphics processor (it is 1920x1200). just my 2 sen. |

QUOTE(aichiban @ Apr 22 2009, 02:54 PM) i think he is more to a black bar troll than looking for a monitor i second this. i don't get why people care about the black bar so much, there's a freaking black bar even on 16:9, and even if there isn't there's the freaking plastic bar that is your monitor frame, u wanna remove that too? if anything, the black bars gives you a good buffer against your monitor frame and whatever you have behind your monitor. i just don't get the people here sometimes.the price range of his choices are super huge |

QUOTE(inflamess @ May 14 2009, 09:29 AM) I have a PVA Panel Dell 2405WFP - legend i don't think they sell 2209WA anymore.Getting Dell S2409W soon - hopefully its good its gonna be my 2nd monitor for dual-screening apps, so far i would say ive read and compared alot of reviews its the best TN S2409w to get atm, unless you compare Dell LED 24''Dell G2410 - which is overpriced imo with 2 input connection DVI/VGA - heck who uses VGA anymore these days >:P i returned PVA Dell 27' 2709w - 27' using 1920x1200 resolution is just quite weird, and noticable input lag / mouse lag 2209WA IPS looks good, but from 24/27 inch lcd going back to 22 inch? just doesn't work for me. here's a picture of Dell 2405fpw compared to Dell 27' 2709w |
