QUOTE(cherroy @ May 12 2009, 04:44 PM) If it is a full HD on a smaller screen (because now I understand any with 1920x1080 is considered Full HD, right?) ain't it makes the font size of window become smaller under native resolution? which is painful to watch. imagine having 15" lcd with fullHD. reading text on it is purely stupid.QUOTE(cherroy @ May 12 2009, 04:44 PM) You need HD source of movie in order to have good HD view on the picture, right? to make full use of fullHD display, fullHD source is required. no point watching VCD on a fullHD display. If not (without HD source), whether it is a full HD monitor, the movie pciture quality make no different, correct? QUOTE(yanhui95 @ May 15 2009, 10:04 PM) nope, that means discount rm390 = rm520-rm390 dell instant cash redemption is marketing gimmickBUT, the prices there already included the cash rebate, its just a marketing gimmick eg: RM1000 <----this is what u pay for (price after RM500 instant cash redemption) (original price RM1500) FYI, that item was never priced at RM1500 before and will never be. here's a little info about dell's zero pixel policy
QUOTE Dell’s Premium Panel Guarantee Premium Panel GuaranteeEver notice a bright spot on a monitor that won't go away? We know it’s annoying: That’s why Dell is now offering a Premium Panel Limited Guarantee including zero-bright-pixel-defects as part of our standard limited warranty1 coverage. If you discover a permanent bright white dot, or pixel, on your monitor, you may return the unit to Dell for a replacement. The Premium Panel Limited Guarantee enhances Dell’s existing Limited Warranty1 to cover zero-bright-pixel defects on UltraSharp™ flat-panel monitors, regardless of whether those monitors have been sold with systems or as stand-alone units. While most manufacturers only provide a 30-day zero-bright-pixel guarantee , Dell’s Premium Panel Limited Guarantee is valid for the warranty term: either 3-year standard limited warranty1, or extended warranty terms of 4 or 5 years. Premium Panel Limited Guarantee is available on all UltraSharp™ flat-panel monitors purchased from February 28, 2008 source too bad it deosn't cover dead pixels or other colors of stuck pixels This post has been edited by Skylinestar: Jun 2 2009, 05:47 PM |
