Morning!
Here's a quickie: I will be buying a FullHD LCD monitor from Samsung (specific: Samsung 24" LCD monitor T240).
I will be hooking up this LCD mainly for PS3 gaming sessions and later on the road will be used with my gaming rig.
Therefore, I need some constructive views from yu...before I indulge in the world of Full HD. The damage from this would be RM1160 as at today.
Thank yu. Joey.
p.s: The reason I want the Samsung T240 is mainly coz of the design, specs, and costing. Anyone that can sway my thoughts from buying it? Appreciate yr feedback.

QUOTE(Enigmatic @ Apr 7 2009, 11:59 PM) Dear all, I have a quick question here. As I am currently doing alot of programming work, I find my Viewsonic 19 inch to be really fatiguing to my eyes. I am not sure if it's setting problems or whatsoever, but could anyone recommend me on my next LCD purchase perhaps? (targetting for those around 22" size, budget can give and take lah, provided the monitor is good) Usage: Heavy programming work, anime, abit of gaming. Oh and if anyone can recommend me settings to decrease my eye fatigue and headache it'd be very much recommended. Thanks in advanced. Morning! Since I laid my hands, set-up and tested the Samsung FullHD 24" LCD monitor yesterday late evening...I would recommend it since it's really good. It's high definition and I think your programming skills will increase 10% from obtaining the said LCD monitor. HiHi... Regards, Joey.

QUOTE(valho @ Apr 8 2009, 01:19 PM) maybe your LCD brightness is too high, that can induce eyes pain and headache as well Hi there! Hmmm...could be one of the possibilities. Anyway, he should have 10 to 15 minutes interval rest. Give yourself a break. Don't strain your eyes...sometimes it's not the hardware that gives to the problem but rather your own self. Thought for ponder...Hihi Regards, Joey. This post has been edited by Joey Christensen: Apr 8 2009, 01:33 PM

QUOTE(shinzhizu @ Jun 8 2009, 08:27 AM) where can get T240hd in Malaysia? how much? Hi there! Samsung T240 FullHD? At my home. Approximately RM1,200. That pricing was couple months ago. There's two left in ALL IT Hypermarket in Low Yat Plaza. I don't think they got it since the T series introduced by Samsung is a limited edition series...(correct me if I'm wrong but I heard it from one of the Samsung sales personnel). Anyway, works well for me. Not a single scratch noticeable nor dead pixel. LUCKY me! I know the Samsung dude at ALL IT Hypermarket...he's the one that doing the checking personally. So far, so good. No complaints. I'm all delighted whenever I switch on the PS3 & the Samsung T240 FullHD.
