Any of u guys play Wii online..whats the best game to play online with friend?

I currently have mario kart wii, call of duty:waw, super smash bros brawl, guitar hero WT online games.

So i order according to my fav online game (but all are good):
1. mario kart wii - must have! don't stay home without it. even if arcade racing is not your genre you should get it. i bought this for my daugther, and was not into arcade racing. But now i play it as often as her, and usually play online, even if i play with her.
2. call of duty: waw - depends if shooter is your genre. If it is don't stay home without it.
3. guitar hero WT/Rock band 2 - the offline will keep you very busy already. But i do play online once in a while when i need 'company'.
4. super smash bros braw - Bought this for my daughter, so i normally play with her and not online. For online is hard to get people to play with unanonymous users. I dono, for the times i have tried playing online, i can't find anybody to play with.

I juz bought the super smash brawl..i tested on pirate game first..if the game interest me..maybe i buy original one juz 2 play online since my wii are modded..to me, the game is juz ok..its a fun game but not too interesting..

I hear rock band 2 on Wii not so great like on PS3..i really enjoy playing guitar hero 3 legend of rock online on PC with the guitar..but to buy the world tour set or rock band 2 set are too expensive..Maybe if Wii got Guitar Hero Metallica i would save money 2 buy the game.

So far the game that i prefer 2 play online is Mario Kart. I dont like 2 play racing game in a split screen mode..its a bit annoying..thats y i prefer 2 play it online..

How about house of dead overkill? has anyone tried it online?

Best online games in Wii are probably Mario Kart and also Fifa09 All play.

I highly recommend fifa09 for those who crave playing soccer games.

just a question,to play WII online do i need to pay like xbox live?

I donno how Xbox live works , but playing online games for WII , no need to pay , but heard that Monster hunter Tri online play in WII needs to pay , heard....

Playing Onslaught from wii shop, need more practice and kaki.

Anyone knows how 2 restore WiiConnect24..i maybe accidently off it some how saying my Wii doesnt provide WiiConnect24 and Wii Shop Channel..

Go to your Wii settings, the icon at bottom left of the channel page.
You will see 2 big icon later, data management(?) and Wii Settings.
Go to Wii Setting, look for WiiConnect24, click it using the wiimote.
Select turn on WiiConnect24, agree to the user policy and you are done.


Make sure you have an internet connection to your Wii.

I dunno why no one mention Animal Crossing City Folk... Maybe it's niche...

But if you're intrested in AC:CF, online play is a must to get other fruits. Also, a lot of the monthly charms require that someone come over and do something to your town, and of course it's easier to get furniture you want if you have friends online than to play alone.


No need. All the games' online play are free. You only need to pay if you buy stuff from the Wii Shop.

Is it COD5 good for online? The game can use Wii Zapper rite? If can use wii zapper im expecting it 2 b better on Wii rather than PC..

I have both guitar hero WT and COD 5 (WAW).
Guitar hero is kick ass game! i play this the most.
COD5 online is good. No lag, up to 8 people simultaneous. but can't use wii speak. and yes, the game can use Wii zapper (i don't have the zapper, but it states that in the opening screen). i think FPS on wii is more intuitive and real, coz is closest to the real thing. You really point the 'gun' and 'shoot'. Unlike the PC where u need to mash keyboard keys to move. Even worst for PS3/xbox360 coz aiming is hard using the analog stick.

You can try animal crossing if you like simple games. There's a bunch of lowyat user who online to play with each other every night

What so best about the animal crossing? I like some hardcore games..Simple games bored me..LOL..

If guitar hero Metallica come out on Wii i will buy the set..CONFIRM..But how about the graphic of guitar hero on Wii compare 2 PC..Is it ok or PC even better..dont want 2 compare wif PS3,ad know which one the give best graphic..

Anyone know how much is the price of Original Wii Zapper..I heard its around rm75..but im not sure whether its ori or not...

U wont understand y i wanna buy Wii zapper..coz i wanna play resident evil umbrella chronicle,overkill n cod5 lo..Its hard 2 juz hold ur remote like that 2 play shoooting games..it can get cramp sometimes.Lol that link u send me say that Wii zapper is much more comfortable..that perfect shot has problem in the trigger..LOL..Not good..any other accesories can beat Wii Zapper?
