there is rules for sibling PR which if u r below 23 yrs old, you are eligible for it. or not you have to apply skill assessment PR.
i think IETLS should be 6. normally is general IETLS unless stated. Added on December 22, 2010, 10:54 ameveryone lost? so quiet? This post has been edited by mwkh_hope: Dec 22 2010, 10:54 AM |

EngAus requires 7 of you. BUT, if you're currently doing your course and are not graduating now, remember that the new system comes into force on May 1st 2011 iirc. Now you need to score 8 in IELTS to get the amount of points for the old 7.Either way you MUST have 2 years of study to apply for an 885/886 regardless of points. It is a requirement. One more question, If the course that i am doing is part of the occupation's critical list and i have also met the 2 years requirement of studying, will there be any offset to the points that i have to reach to get a pr? Will the passing mark for ielts be the same (at least 7) for Engineer's Australia? |

QUOTE(Retrohits8198 @ Dec 23 2010, 11:19 PM) hmm thanks for the prompt reply, really appreciate it... The critical skills list has been revoked since mid 2010 (http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/pdf/csl-gsm.pdf)seems that the new system's requirement of getting a pr is much tighter and harder. Will the passing mark for ielts be the same (at least 7) for Engineer's Australia? Suggest you keep up to date. Your "2 years" depends on how long your course is registered with CRICOS and its accreditation by Engineers Australia (look up the course CRICOS code and the Engineers Australia accreditation list), IIRC the passing mark is still 7 for EA, but you will get less points than an 8 band and 0 points for a 6 band. |

i heard from friends that their family can help to apply for police checkup if u were nt in msia but i think they need your passport.
Well, if you want to apply for PR, there is a checklist for you to follow. so don't worry too much. But i heard that all application will be only be accepted after Mid of Feb/. |
