Why bother to sex it since most of it is female?

"This does not indicate a true sex ratio as these specimens came from various localities throughout the Australo-Paupan region. Makioka and Koike, 1985, obtained 569 live specimens of L australasiae from two localities in Asia: the Cameron Highlands, southern Malay Peninsula, west Malaysia; and Iriomote Island, one of the Ryukyu Islands, Japan. Among the specimens no individuals could be found with the described male characteristics of L australasiae."

usually i place petrolium gel on the end of the enclosure or use a water fountain.. place the enclosure in a water bath.. that should stop any ants coming in...

Buy made in China ones. Highly recommended. They overdose on practically everything. Free carcinogenic substance included! thumbup.gif

Jokes aside, ant killing powders are still the best problem solvers. Especially when you start collecting more and more bugs. Using them every other month to prevent mishaps.

i think Ryo mean the scorpion that will or will not affected by the powder.

Last time the way i put the powder is , trace the route of the ants till the nest or the maximum place you can trace to, put the powder there and wait only. I also put some on the route as the ants just follow the smell left by the other ants and follow the same route.
