Chobits have a little bit of everything - ecchi/mystery/romance/suspence/etc

Whether it's nice or not really depends on individual. Personally, I find it to be quite interesting from the mid-point of the series onwards.

elfen lied is more of art and there is a deep meaning in it in my pov.the opening theme is nice ^^

I'd advise you NOT to buy from Speedy. The price is high and you get bootlegged DVDs. Since most shops in Malaysia sells bootleg DVDs, might as well buy cheaper bootlegged ones

This actually happened to me. I first posted a thread in here back in 2006 asking where to buy DVDs and don't like to watch my anime on the PC - now I'm doing exactly that. Anyway, I still buy anime OVA/movies DVDs and sometimes boxset if I like that series enough to spend $$ on it but I'm very cautious nowadays because bootlegged DVDs are all over the place.

No need to prove you wrong because it's true. That's why I said I'm very cautious when it comes to buying anime DVDs. Since 2007, most of the boxsets that I did bought were from Amazon or tumpang friend to buy when they come back from trips overseas. (damn exp . BT is my best friend now)

PS : Maybe I should rephrase my previous post - I still buy anime OVA/movies DVDs and sometimes boxsets in Malaysia IF the sub quality is good enough. Else, as mentioned above, I tumpang friend to buy.

Chobits is nice anime, highly recommended if u don't mind the animation quality compared to 2010 animes. xD

2010 anime have quality one meh ?

i was meaning the animation for Chobits is old, it was a 2003 animation.
2009/2010 animes like k-on or fullmetal alchemist have much more superior animation quality.

if it has a good story, I don't mind about quality. For me story > quality. Sometimes, even a good ol fashion hand drawn anime *cough*Ghibli*cough* can still be better than one filled with CG and stuff.

For me, its a good anime. for anothers, i'm not sure though...

lol most new anime imo lost their 'touch' since.. let see 4-5 years back, imo they lack of storyline/char development and etc..

Chobits is a really funny anime with a little bit of ecchi-ness in it. But I think it's pretty acceptable. I still remember watching this anime when I was 11.

I like Ruruxiu better.They are from the same cartoonist.
