ermm .. somewhat yeah .. but the surface is very nice to touch .. without clear coat .. the surface feels like sandy ..

normal spray and a clear coat spray .. which basicly makes your surface much more nice too touch ..

don't need so many layer actually .. 2 or 3 is enough .. once you feel your work is good enough .. then stop there ..

don't use masking tape ... it is better to remove the acrylic panel and spray .. then attached it back ..

karthyhu use double sided tape to glue the acrylic panel to the side panel ..

buy 3M acrylic double side tape (ace hardware) good for gluing acrylic to side panel.

wah~ is tat tahan?? how abt ur opinion? i oso thk 2 buka tat acrylic panel n repaint it..

it will tahan if ONLY u use 3M Scotch tape. check on YouTube about the strength of the tape.

dont need to spray clear coat aslo can , just sand it off with high grid sandpaper will do the mirror finish

clear coat also acts as a protective layer
if u sand off the whole layer, then direct into the paint leh

price wise depends on the seller
LYP is selling at around MR260
but price varies quite a lot, since the casing is REALLY FAMOUS and lots of people uses it

hi TS, what do you use to cut the honey comb on top? can you show us the tool?

i think he'll be using the small cutter to cut it out..

small cutter will do the work? but that honey comb thingy is quite hard/thick.

you will need to use a special cutter which are specially for cutting tree branches or metal sticks ..

but a strong meat scissors will also do the job ..

the small cutter sure will do..
it look small but if realy the mata still tajam it can cut thick metal..

Ah I painted mine black too..But i only painted the silver parts to matte black/flat black..

Also Only 2 - 3 layers are enuff, make sure you paint on very2 hot day + no wind if painting outside. After spraying, lest to dry overnight.\

Also noticed the "meleleh" effect + splatter drips.

After spraying, clean the nozzle b4 spraying again (excessive paint).

For the "meleleh" effect, wait for it to dry, use sandpaper to make it even, then spary back. But its ok i guess since it is in the inside and no one can see it..

planning to do this on my casing,but yet to dismantle anything,cause dunno how...

Just thinking is there any other way to make the interior black other than spraying, say......using sticker?

I wonder how big the size of sticker to cover the whole interior in a full tower...

my cm690 got abuse from me after not even 1 month receive in my hand...
somemore i use the sandpaper before spraying it...and...last thing i am thinking of...why must i repaint my exterior....
i dont have idea
now...wanna make some repaint again....but dont have freetime to do so...
any update?
so ur idea's only wanna cut the honey comb and painting inside?

The cat there is refering to CAT MASTER which is CM (CoolerMaster) actually...
