QUOTE(fiqir @ Mar 17 2009, 09:39 AM) i think should be higher. i'm just using AMD7750BE + cheap M2N68-AM mobo with stock cooler also can get 3.1Ghz (but not stable for long run) My case same with yours. Running @ 3.1ghz and it'll gradually increase to almost 3.2ghz and htt 205 by itself. So end up being not stable. |

I've seen ppl get 3.2ghz on air with high performance ram.
I think if play with the htt, 3.2ghz is highly possible. |

QUOTE(cyberloner @ Mar 21 2009, 08:55 PM) You should check out the google for answer... Google AM2+ Overclocking Even myself also doing googling for answer. They've taught me many times already Hypertransport normally is available in 3X 4X 5X .. something like 5X is default for 200 HTT so 5 X 200 = 1000 Hypertransport U cannot use 5X for 220 Answer 5 X 220 = Over 1k... (Won't Stable on many board) samething goes to ram as well... If the ram is 667... so the ram clock is 333 if u are clocking the cpu by 220 ... the ram will increase as well... that's why the ram setting should be lower 1st to 533 maybe or 400... so u will have more room for cpu htt increase... Learn more in google... no one willing to answer these question again and again since a lot guide is out there.... Now hoping can do 3.1ghz Btw, why Orthos recognize my cpu speed at default even I already increase the speed? This post has been edited by XiuKeong: Mar 21 2009, 10:20 PM |
