srry ffor the frquent update, but here's another one... this time is on 3 cores though... managed to squeeze 3.5GHz out from it...

Attached Image

guess i'll run the chip @ 3.3GHz 4 cores for 24/7... i dun like the voltage for the highest 2 clock...

i think u should try up ur CPU volt to 1.55V for kamikaze style OC result  tongue.gif ...and see if u can go above 3.6GHz stable. this 720 proc is very oc'able...but u need so much juice to make it above 3.4GHz...i can see u have a very good cpu HSF...bun dunno about NB temp tho...
*
lol, i am not going tfor that man... risk is too high... dun want to fry the stuff...

juz tried 3.7GHz though, already @ 1.5V, but auto restart when i run prime95... guess i am reaching the max for my setup already...

btw, do try to get Biostar, really value for the money...

Hold on..Dont so fast..3.7Ghz 3 Cores?
Dont always play with multiplier.Sometimes you will require lesser voltage if play HTT + multi instead of just Multis.Try it smile.gif
*
3.7GHz is Super Pi stable but not Prime95 stable...

trying out the max multiplier to go, then next will be HTT...

lol, never had so much fun oc-ing...

here's the one... the vcore is too high for my liking though...

and to back cyberloner's pt:

QUOTE
AMD took the lessons learned through developing ACC with 65-nm Phenom and baked them into their 45-nm Phenom II silicon. As a result, ACC no longer provides the OC’ing benefits it did previously with 65-nm Phenom parts. In the words of AMD: “you can just as well leave ACC off for Phenom II OC testing. Since, the "go-fast" things we learned from ACC (and those CPU parameter adjustments) were factored into 45nm, the benefit unlocked previously by ACC in 65nm silicon is already being realized without having to use the ACC feature separately.” Over the Christmas holiday (before hearing this from AMD) we’d already attempted OC’ing our Phenom II CPU and sure enough, ACC provided no benefit when OC’ing the processor. We actually thought something was wrong with our 790GX motherboard until we heard back from AMD.

as according to Biostar's website...

GX3 has got 100% solid caps, and DDR3 for SidePort (128M has DDR2)...

other than that, can't really tell the diff...

may i know wat is ACC and how to increase the cpu nb? sorry i'm new amd user. hehe. thx in advance.
*
ACC = Advanced Clock Calibration

basically there are 6 buses connected to Phenom from the SB750, which can correct the clock of Phenom on the fly...

AMD said the ACC technique has already integrated into Phenom II though...
