vcore, cpu-nb vid (vimc) & ya oc setup bro? try to play w/ diff acc value when ur unlockin d 4th core, i know d process is painful (as u have 4 cores with 13 values of acc to try) but once u find out d weaker core it'll make ya life easier. never had enuf time to play w/ it on biostar board but on my dfi i set -12 for d weaker core while 0% for d 3 healthier cores.

i can only think of 2 factors:

chip - not a gud clocker
board - i'm havin problem to run 4 cores bench stable w/ 3.4GHz @ 1.40~1.44v on biostar while it was a breeze w/ my 790fxb

htt wise mine can go all d way up to 26x, 250 seems to be d most rock solid value.

use task manager to set d affinity. launch prime, go to task manager & set d affinity to 1 cpu only. repeat this one by one until u finished launchin 4 instances of prime.

as i said, i didn't have much time w/ 790gx so i can't answer u regardin d vcore thingy but on dfi, these are my setups:

3 cores (prime stable):

3.5GHz @ 1.376v
3.6GHz @ 1.424v
3.7GHz @ 1.488v

4 cores (bench stable):

3.7GHz @ 1.504v (can be a notch lower i think)

la, stakat 1.9xV xpayah risau nyer bro... kasi naik lagi ram frequncy tu... 900MHz @ 5-5-5-x under achievement lah...

i'm abit worry for d mosfets bro... for daily config it's better to keep it under 1.45v for those boards w/ less power phase. lain crite kalu kite org pakai a$u$ boards...

i'd take loose timin @ high freq anytime bro coz usually it requires less volt if compared to tight timing. 1000MHz @ 5-5-5-x w/ rather low voltage shoudn't be any problem i guess.

even sink mosfets bro. msi w/ drmos (i supposed higher grade than those used on biostar & dfi perhaps) on 1.5x cpu id oso get burn... those drmos are sinked oso...

1.45v or slightly higher still ok i think, but i hardly run my chip > 1.4v for 24/7 setup...

agree on playin w/ 3 core 1st, 4 cores more on benchin purposes. 3 cores give really low temp, gud for 24/7...

can't comment as i didn't try d quad core version of 3/10 bro, there's a specialized version for tri-core just for unlockin d 4th core. not much improvement over its predessor (2/24) thou... still can't fix d lock up issue when blend test is ran.

u can try to play around w/ d p states thingy (where u select p0, p1, p2 or p3) under cpu setting session. forgot what d options were called but they're not so hard to find.

it's amazin isn't bro? especially compared to our agena... can even be cooled passively if case temp is gud...

try to bump vimc a notch or 2 when ram freq is high (even no nb freq oc done), it does help to prevent prime failures.

it was called cpu-nb vid in dfi, not so sure in biostar thou. my short term memory is not so gud... some more i got limited time only to play w/ d biostar board. try to figure it out in bios. my guess it either under nb power management features or cpu fid/vid control. try to ask around in rh to confirm...

yas one diff lah bro... for yas i think it's cpu-nb voltage/cpu-nb vdd voltage. use aod to check, look for nb vid under voltage session.

yup bro, as always...

for tri-core beta bios (2/24 & 3/10), it's normal to have no post after enablin acc in bios. all u need to do is just to power off d rig, leave it for few seconds, then press d power button again. voila, d acc is on & ya pc is bootin up fine.

it's never easy to tame a dfi board, but i'd say it worths all d troubles...
