my mum haf vertigo.. she went to a lot of specialists n doctors before.. there's no short term cure..
but a good advice from a good doc is tat..
u need to take med like betaserc daily for a period of time.. like maybe at least 1 year.. then let d doc monitor ur condition..
if ur condition gets better.. then d doc might suggest u to take it less often.. then slowly, if it gets better n better, then u will be off d medication..
as u say, d discomfort is in between d attacks.. so d doc suggested medication for d dizziness.. eg: d type of med for seasick.. tat's to ease off the discomfort during attacks..
