Riding couple Senior Member 5,366 posts Joined: Jan 2007 From: KL Malaysia	anyways just watched unicorn ep01 and the new 00 movie trailer and heres my random take on them: unicorn: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « - really awesome setting, a lot of gundam 00 initial feel, with gundam seed gundam jacking cliche feel rofl - the thing that amused me the most is the artwork which followed pretty much 100% to the novel. sure theres a lot of bling bling and special effects, but those i can get from gundam 00. the artwork however, is using old anime art styles BUT that did not made me hate it or have the slightest feeling of it looking old AT ALL. they really pulled that one off well so hats off to sunrise/bandai on the artwork - on the topic of artwork, the cliche ball of fire (lol bola api) explosions are used heavily, YET, it still felt good, and again, didnt felt old at all - "3D animu" feeling with the starting kystria fight scene with the turnings and surrounding scene showings. The g-force impacts etc, really really realistic feeling, and as jcdish pointed out, totally gave kystria that "heavy" feeling. - best of all? in the age of moe boom, this doesnt have any of that, no bullshit, no moe, just the cruel truths of war - lots and LOTS of death and carnage. and seeing people desintegrating... oh yes. - air bag on reverse. lol. - DESTROY MODE. nuff f***ing said. 00 trailer: - bling bling lolz - the design seems a lot more solid although allelujah/tieria's mech is umm, as wierd as ever. - FANG PEW PEW - lolz moar flag - updated piloting interface, lol "3D" - assuming those "stars" all joined CB, bad guys on the fail part now? or innovators are gonna be super imba to counter balance? - all in all, the trailer being so short, and mainly showcasing the gundams/MS pew pew abilities, not much can be said/known about it, just have to wait for more trailers/info or, the movie itself. not much point to speculate too much

Since it's a bit fair to compare it that way. Gundam Wing Zero Twin Buster Rifle is relatively stronger than Seravee, but not that uber-powered. GN-Field can reduce some of the damage inflicted. It's a different story if you say Twin Satellite cannon can obliterate whole CB. GX-9900 with original G-Bit system equipped with individual satellite cannon can easily obliterate whole army of high-armored MS( i m not talking about combustible zaku s in seed series). One more is the Gekkouchou system which destroys technology/civilisation and created black history. Both of these weapons are considered the strongest in terms of firepower. Moral value? Firepower is only a part of ms, consider another thing such as maneuverability, armor, psycommu weapon system, etc. Satellite cannon is strong but the recharge time is insane. Gekkouchou, on the other hand, shouldn't exist in the series. because somewhere down the road, butterfly will be mentioned and /thread. or random people going "omg ms is all bout skilllzzzzz" coughuctardscough WZC (i mean, might as well use the strongest as a reference aye?) after a few shot, literally gg's itself. virtue or seravee, is much capable of firing almost limitless shots without drawbacks, fairly fast recycle and charging, and the payload comparison, even virtue/seravee somewhat excels WZC and in an event of a clash, WZC will take direct hit where virtue/seravee can hide behind GN field. hell, we arent even factoring in trans-am. end of the day, whats the point? lol
