As I mentioned before lcd was fading and going purple from time to time. Not often, gave a call to NCC penang (prai) and they said they don't have stock.  Will get in 2 weeks.  But seems like they know the prob exists.  Said will call me when the part comes in.  So hope to get a new screen in 2 weeks. so anyone having the same prob, call your closest NCC and ask them.

Wahh.. new Garmin. Work with 5800? Will try to update now.

erm..im having the lcd fading problem and i wanna go to ncc to fix it...how do i convince them that its the lcd problem?? coz im in kuantan and at here theres not many tube users..so scared that they dun even noe that this lcd fading problem existed..

Yeah it's too bad. I remember one of the previous 5800 threads having a couple of Johorians in them but it's impossible to dig through 9 threads to find their posts even with the search function.    I just I'll just post the question in each new page until someone responds to it. Worked in the E71 thread.
