Crazy session today. 6-a-side's quite fun every now and then. No time to muck around... pass & run, pass & run. Ben gets the Emo Trophy award today :-)

Hey b****es!!! Writing from Siew Reap here. The town is amazing. Like a slow, dusty cowboy version of KL in the 60s. There's a place called "Pub Street", sort of like a Bangsar but waaaaay nicer. The food is great, the restaurants are classy and beer is US$0.75! Had a great time watching Liverpool come from behind to bang MU's ass 4-1 here.

Hahahahahaa yeah no kidding. Even better... USD0.50 during the day! Can just chill out and drink the entire hot afternoon away. And no, bkfeng, waile & giotto - there are no seedy joints here. Not ones that you could pick out with the naked eye anyway!

Thank you all for the interest in my international business. I am having talks with several organizations here and things are looking great. I still wanna get Ben involved in some role or another, coz I can see great potential in him. Try to figure something out. Thanks and bye!

Hahahaha waile, doggy and giotto - I finally stumbled upon some seedy bars here. Dark and dodgy, and a bunch of pretty hot bods sitting outside. Only when you go closer, they all look like men!!! Hahahaha... I've also been invited to join the local tuktuk football team against a bunch of hotel workers. Gonna be fun!

Hey b****es! Writing from a little town called Banlung in eastern Cambodia, near the Vietnam border. Very secluded area, about 12 hours of arse-breaking ride from the capital city Phnom Penh. We stayed overnight at an indigenous village the other day. No electricity, piped water or toilet. Chicken and pigs running all over the place. Amazing experience you guys would love it here! :-) 2 more weeks to go but I don't exactly miss KL. Maybe I'll settle down here and set up a cow-racing team.

On another note, are the Thursday sessions alright? Try arrange with Mr Bu Kai Feng - he has Jesse's number and should be able to coordinate the session. Right Abu? :-) Usually we have 7-10 players from the LYN team.

In one of the books that I read, ppl like the Kangster are called "connectors". They play a very important role in society to disseminate information and get the news around. Back in the early 1800's, Kang will be on a horseback travelling from village to village to spread messages from the king.

Btw, we visited a lake the other day for a swim.

QUOTE(waile @ Apr 6 2009, 09:46 AM)
mike, how is the condition in cambodia? are you around thai-cambodia border? those fightings between cambodia-thai armies affected u or not?

if you don't report here in 24hours time, we'll assume that u've been captured. we will then send our guerilla tactical warfare expert, once apprentice of John Rambo, Ben RamButt to rescue u.
*
Many thanks for your concern. I was at the other end of the border, near Laos. So no problems there. The biggest issue that I'm facing is jet lag. It's a whopping 1-hour timezone difference - my sleeping, eating and shitting hours have completely gone bonkers.

On a separate note, I'm happy to read the progress on the threads here. Good to note that there are more emo players. Means gameplay is more competitive, the players are improving and generally, everyone is more sensitive like Giotto!

Hi Aaron, sorry to hear what happened. Which area did you park in - near the big court, or behind near the toilets? I suppose it will really help if our members take some effort to go check out the cars everytime they are not playing, or waiting outside. I do that rather frequently myself, but considering we have so many players esp on Mondays - we'd have someone to keep watch the entire duration of the session!

Hey girls tonight's Thursday session is on yeah. 9-11pm. The regulars like Bull, Kang, Abu & Bakeham coming? Anyone else interested feel free to pop in. I won't be around though; gonna take a break after nearly dying on Monday. Have fun and don't get injured like Eric!
