I would like to have a word with the mod. Each and everytime when there is nothing happening, they like to make something out of it.How many times did they put out my profiles, our posts in thread to discuss? And, it's always we are the wrong side.

That footie troll in our thread, quote our post, posting my profile and now he said I m bossy? Who the heck started all this?

How constructive post are those troll, quotes and profile discussing? If they don't get warn for all those craps, I don't think we deserve as well.

Only god knows, how saint they are and we, on the other hand, are full of sin, aik?

Aiyo macha, rilekz lah bro.

Everytime a newbie comes in, they will do the same. They will go to ur thread and gloat and their idiot-within will come out.

Takkan everytime it happens we have to go on about it. Im sure u saw my replies to him in ure thread and uve seen the replies he got from our thread. Im certain (at least i hope i am) that he wont go spouting shit all over the Pool thread again.

Now lets call it a 2-am truce and let it chillax eh matey ?

Look forward to the weeks game, ours to Inter, yours to Madrid ...

Play it ice and stay cool.

Yes, luck plays big part in all games actually. Look at us, always having a same problem every season. The center back issue before UCL games. remember us against Milan where we were rushing Vidic from injury and last season, how hard for us to get the double champions..
Ahh.. you are adorable wub.gif

Yeah... i love you too man ... but only wen ure predictions about our rivals are wrong ... which isnt often. LOL. How did u get this Predictor tag anyways ?!?!?

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Feb 23 2009, 02:18 AM)
I do agree that no one can sure of the final outcome but for now, you guys are more consistent than us, having a healthy lead.Chances are higher on your side than ours.

Anyway, we meant no offense when entering this thread.Just try not to create something out of nothing for god's sake.We didnt complain anything about you guys celebrating in your own thread.Try not to bring it personal or troll at rival's thread.Cheers.

Anything can happen in a league race matey. Look at Barca ! Leading the table with 12 points, the title as they were saying jus few matches back was already wrapped up and had their address on it. Suddenly Madrid are on a 9 match winning run with their last match THROTTLING betis, and the gap is at 7 points, and now everyone is going ... WHOA here comes La Madridista ... (personally id hate to see em lift the title, they shud just burn and die)

Besides, i love a good race to the end. Hate it when the race is going on of course, but if we win, it makes it that much sweeter.

Like last season against Chelsea (Nyahahaha)

It's ironic. One, I hope we wont lose the title race in like last match.Like adding salt to injury. In another matter, I hope we wont out of title race too early...Ironic, no?  laugh.gif  doh.gif

I guess thats the beauty of a league's storyline

If United win it - The story is about how United came back from behind when Liverpool were leading for a good amount of the season, and how we had World Club commitments yada yada yada

If Pool win it - it'll be about how United lead was overhauled (hugging my wooden table here kao kao) and how its been donkey-years since u guys last won it

If Chelsea win it - it'll be abt how firing LFS was the best thing to do and how the Golden Guus brought the crown to the bridge (continues hugging the wooden table)

If Aston Villa win it - it'll be about how the unexpected has happened and the Big 4 has been torn to shreds !!! And how a real ENGLISH team has emerged (no need to bother hugging the table d)

If WBA win it - it'll be about how 19 teams in a league tested positive for marijuana and ganja before the games, so all banned by FA and WBA were only sniffing glu, so they bestowed the crown upon them. (ill touch the table ... jus incase)

Jus kickback and watch the story unfold matey. We're fans that sit 10000000s of miles away and not enough to make that little bit of difference, unless we're praying and offering our souls to the Football Gods to get one more victory, or promise to cut off our johnnys just to see our beloved team holding up the trophy (i swear i know liverpool fans who are willing to do it ... i know i know .. PRIORITIES MAN!!!)

whatever it is ... destiny awaits ...

Wah you all watched Cesar one night then really sing all his glory. Rilekz lah brothers ... liddat we can take at least 60% of the keepers who played against us as real world class ..

on another issue. Bookies have stopped the odds rolling for rafa to roll out of anfield ...

For some of us, its bad news ... cos we feel that hes so hopeless and he stops Pool from progressing

For some of us, its good news ... it shud destabilize them at this point of the season with this sort of talk going abt ...

Well .. whatever it is ... shud be good to watch! smile.gif

Well guys, IMHO, it was odds on Middlesbrough from the start of the match. Liverpool were giving 1/2 ball to Middlesbrough.

FYI, Boro have scored less goals than WBA who are at the bottom of the league. With Pool beating Madrid during the week, its amazing that the bookies were offering -1/2 to Pool takers. This is what we call The Pit, cos usually punters fall for it.

So I was expecting a draw tonight for them.

Its odds on for that to happen because Pool have been a 2nd half team this season, so my instincts tell me that they wont nick the points tonight.

Having said that, the ball is round, and id expect you guys to show the same amount of humility as i do, at least til the end of the match biggrin.gif At Fulltime, if theyve dropped points, we can party all night long smile.gif

Was it the one against Milwall ?
I miss winning that Cup sad.gif

last season we were pretty close !! But Harry's Portsmouth side got lucky against us ... the PRICKS !! But heck .. we got one over them this season eh!

I want the FA Cup !! Winning it 10-11 times isnt enough ... i want to win it every season !!!

among the 3 cups left ... the UCL is the hardest (duh) ... but if it were to be 2 out of the 3 ... then id take the big titles ... although .. like i sed .. ive got a soft spot for the FA Cup...

Funnily enough i still see ppl quoting 'FACHTS' ... be it United fans, A-B-Pool fans, and even the neutrals ..

Be wary of tonights match.

United in imperious form, are only giving half ball to Fulham.

Factors to be taken note of, United are playing away. Roy Hodgsons team are on the up and arent exactly struggling in the league so are looking to play a full strength line up.

United lost out on the handicap at midweek, where -1.25 was the offer on the table, but the one goal margin meant that punters lost half their bet.

Hopefully we have a good game tonight, but the handicap suggests that it might be a tight one smile.gif

Ferguson admits he's still baffled by Rafa's rant

March 13, 2009

Sir Alex Ferguson intends to consult the works of great psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud to try and work out what lies behind the legend of 'Rafa's rant'.

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez let forth a string of invective against his Manchester United counterpart in January, accusing Ferguson of exerting undue influence on the English game and claiming the Scot was a hypocrite and a whinger.

As, virtually from the moment Benitez had finished his tirade, Liverpool's fortunes have slumped as United charged clear in the title race, Ferguson felt no need to respond.

The Scot still feels the same now, in fact he is totally non-plussed at the reason for Benitez's outburst.

"I would need to read more Freud before I could really understand it and where it came from,'' reflected Ferguson.

"I am not really interested. It never bothered me at the time and it doesn't bother me now.''

Ferguson does accept their respective positions mean he will never be bosom buddies with the former Valencia coach. It is the same with another long-standing rival, Arsene Wenger, although it does not prevent the Red Devils chief accepting what a brilliant coach the Frenchman is.

"Anybody that manages Liverpool is a rival to me,'' he said.

"Over the years we have had Kenny [Dalglish], Graeme [Souness], Roy [Evans], Gerard [Houllier] and now Rafa. It doesn't matter who manages Liverpool, they will always be a rival, it is part of the history.

"It's the same with Arsenal. Arsene and I have had our fall outs but you must respect the quality of football he produces. The Arsenal team has got Wenger written right across it.''

For United and their fans however, Liverpool represent something else entirely.

Ferguson recognised the mutual loathing as soon as he came down from Aberdeen and vowed to knock the Merseyside outfit off their perch as kings of England.

That aim has long since been achieved but there are a few other factors likely to give tomorrow's showdown more spice than usual.

United are chasing an 18th league title to match Liverpool's long-standing record for a start. Benitez's men are desperate to stop them and realise that, seven points adrift having played a game more, nothing but a win will do.

Then there are the controversial comments Wayne Rooney made to MUTV in midweek, outlining his personal hatred of the Anfield outfit, which have only served to stoke the fires even more.

"Liverpool have always been our main rival,'' said Ferguson.

"It does not matter what the position in the league, as far as I am concerned, it has always been the derby game.

"It will always be that way because of the geography and history of the two cities.

"We are the two most successful football clubs in England. When they get together you expect sparks to fly.''

Sparks are not the only thing that have flown at Rooney during these stormy affairs. Mobile phones have been hauled at the England striker by more extreme Liverpool supporters, to go with bucketloads of abuse he can expect from the visiting fans tomorrow.

Little wonder he feels the way he does, although, as Gary Neville has learned after expressing similar sentiments over a decade ago, airing private views in public can cause a career full of grief from one half on Merseyside.

``Hate is an easy word to say, easier than dislike. Maybe it is not the right word,'' said Ferguson.

"But Wayne has had plenty of stick from Liverpool fans over the years, so it is understandable.

"He supported Everton as a kid and the rivalry between then and Liverpool is pretty ferocious now. Since then he has come to Manchester United and he wants to win.

"It is nothing out of the ordinary really.''

There is something symbolic about an 18th title for United. As they were only on seven when Liverpool reached that figure, just under four years after Ferguson replaced Ron Atkinson, it is not something the Scot ever had as a long-term plan.

Now the Red Devils are nearly there, Ferguson is looking much further ahead, certain the day will eventually dawn when his club are not just level, but ahead.

"This team will win more league championships,'' he said.

"Whatever happens, this year is only part of the future which looks very good for our young players.

"There is evidence that we have a group that can stay together for quite a few years.''
