if there was someone who was going to replace Sir Alex Ferguson, i would love to see some ex united players/managers like

Roy Keane
Mark Hughes
Bryan Robson
Steve Bruce

or maybe Eric Cantona ?

it would be also cool to have Gary Neville as our manager. not so soon though, maybe he needs time.
other senior players like Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes would be nice too.
Ole Gunnar Solskjær anyone ?

can't wait for the game later tonight. it's the final, so its a pretty much big game overall. Tottenham wont be easy. we know what their like in the premeir leauge as we've been playing them for years now. we got to keep cool on this game and find the goal. our players will be in top form hopefully and i would rather prefer us not to concede any goal in the game. i dont want us to go into extra time or go into a penalty shootout. 90 minutes is all what we need to do something good in the game. do all that, and ill be proud of us. we're doing extremly well in the premeir league. so, why cant we do for this as well ? let's pray they don't throw this game away. i trust in united that they'll do the job for us. so yeah. nod.gif

between, hello guys! wave.gif

lol

yeah decent side ill say.
Foster better not make any mistakes today. just dont let in any goals will be good. cause i want a clean sheet.
Tevez & Welbeck looks good up front as striking partners
defenders and midfielders looks ok to me
hope they play the game calm & cool
take it easy and find a goal or two.
and no mistakes for sure.
so, let see what this manchester united side can do for full 90 minutes in the game.

hey guys! wave.gif
looks like some of you are awake. sweet!
well, im awake myself too.
felt embarassed after what happened yesterday. blush.gif rofl

aite to serious business.

lineups.
i think it looks solid enough for me.
lets hope VDS dont conceed any goals later in the game. as much i would like us to keep a clean sheet.
gotta stay focus after our sweet win the other day againts tottheham which we won the carling cup.
credit as well to tottheham as they fought hard till the end thus bringing both teams into a penalty shoot out game.

hope we'll get entertain tonight pretty loads till the end of the match from both the teams
i really want us to win this game and make the gap between us and our rivals futher apart from each other.
Newcastle won be easy thats for sure.
anyhow. may the best team out there wins!

both teams started off well.

but not after we took our free kick & ended up newcastle hitting us on the counter attack and suddenly a blundder by VDS. what a gifted goal that was for newcastle. a goalie like VDS with his standards should've saved the ball comfartably & easily.

we seriously need to close down newcastle fast especially when their attacking or counter attacking us. they are (newcastle) just so god damn dangerous when going foward.

then came rooney's goal. even though the goal came off a deflection but it was a really good finishing up goal by rooney. love the 1 2 o shea played with park. thanks to o shea as he was the key player that created the goal and the finishing touch by rooney.

we were so close to our second goal. i thought vidic was gonna score the goal but ended up seeing the ball went off target as vidic was on target throwing himself in the goal. tongue.gif lol

as for us, we need to be more alert when newcastle come for us when attaking. we really need to close them down fast or else they'll cause us big problems.

VDS needs to be more like his old self when he was playing good and not conceeding any goals. we need to be a bit more defensive. our defenders
cant let them get pass them easily.

we're doing well rite now. just keep the ball, keep it passing around and hopefully we'll find the goal in second half.

no more small silly mistakes please.

1st half...

both teams started off well.

2nd half...

again, newcastle looked quite dangerous for me in the 2nd half but we defended quite well.
talk about the blunder from our goalie VDS but on to the other side of the field was a defender trying to pass the ball back to their goalie but failed to do so.
so, what happens then after their the defender's mistake ? park came from behind, took the ball, saw newcastle's goalie coming out and decided to pass it to berbatov. from there on, came our second goal from berbatov which he finished it beatifullly.
we had so many chances in the 2nd half and shots were coming as we attacked newcastle.
there was anothr good chance for us to get our 2rd goal where rooney decided to go for a chip when the keeper was no where close to his goal. rooney failed to score though. i thought he should've just shoot the ball instead of going for the chip by chipping the ball over the keeper. or at least better if he just passed the ball or cross it in to berbatov to finish it.
either way, rooney should've scored the goal me thinks.
VDS did some 1 or 2 good saves in the 2nd half.
both teams were in control in the 2nd half but as minutes when by, i thought we had more control of the ball rather then newcastle.
yes, again, newcastle did managed to attacked us but we were focus in the 2nd half as we defended pretty well i should say.
substitutions was not much. just giggs coming on for berbatov.

Overall...

looking at the overall performance by both teams, everyone played well and fought hard for the ball to keep possesion.
rooney for me looked like he wanted the ball so badly (even when he fouls someone you can see his expression on hisface that he wants it so badly) and was always eager to score.
ronaldo played very well. he was always making good runs on the pitch and making good passes. not to forget the skills too.
newcastle look so dangerous in the 1st half and was giving us some problems as well but not as bad as the second half.
and the match had some pretty aggressive tackles. vidic was bleeding after someone elbowed him close to his right eye. hope his alright though.
even thou we went down with a goal in the 1st half, we pretty much played well and came back from 1-0 to 1-2 up.
but i hope that VDS wont do any of those small silly mistakes in the 1st half.

so, 3 points, 7 points gap and one game in hand now.
boy, im so proud of united with the wins lately in BPL.
must be the carling cup we won that saw us close to hunting down another trophy with our winning the match againts newcastle.
united must keep on continuing with their recent form if they were to win the BPL, CL & FA Cup.
next up is againts Fulham in the FA Cup quater final i think.

as for this match, ill give a rating of...

7.5/10

guys, we're now few minutes away from kick-off. quite nervous myself i'll say. ive been doing some thinking lately since the draw againts inter milan few weeks back. man, it's not going to be any easy match later on in the game. looking at yesterday's games, we saw some of the teams that went through to the next round. i would love to see us go into the next round as well & face of one of those teams. but it all depends on the match today if we can win it. whatever happens later on in the game, no lose, no draw, but a win!
