Slow is one thing. I tried to open tmnet website also cannot? Even using OpenDNS cannot also. I think something is really screwed up at TM right now.

QUOTE(rikimarumal @ Feb 28 2009, 10:32 AM) strangely enough, yesterday 60.54.xx ip work well for mu Really? For me 60.XX is heaven while 118.X is just for normal browsing or maybe youtube but definitely not RS.but today,118.xx ip work well,60.54 sucks big time While 115.X is hell....... can't do anything at all. Worst is I have been restarting my connection from morning to get that 60.x IP but all the while I am getting 118 and 115. Oh why you are so cruel Streamyx? Added on February 28, 2009, 3:54 pm QUOTE(jazranwajdi @ Feb 28 2009, 11:09 AM) i've restarted my modem about 30 times this morning to get 60.50 and 60.49 but still unsuccesful. 30 times only? I have to resort to login into my dd-wrt admin and click on connect and disconnect oh some few hundred times already. I think I am in internet limbo. well btw i found out 115.XX ip is the slowest of all Might as well shutdown and get an afternoon nap.... This post has been edited by gyver: Feb 28 2009, 03:54 PM |

I only wish by the 5th everything will be ok. Most probably they will say something else came up and has to postpone to end of month.

My friend reported of getting speed of up to 300kbps while running bittorent now. It's like his line suddenly upgraded to 4mbps.
Added on March 2, 2009, 5:05 pmLucky him... Added on March 2, 2009, 5:05 pmHopefully there is no Streamyx spy or cops monitoring this thread... hehehe This post has been edited by gyver: Mar 2 2009, 05:05 PM |

QUOTE(QuickFire @ Mar 7 2009, 10:56 AM) I've been experiencing slow load times for the last 3 weeks or so, and it just keeps getting worse. EVERY site, no matter local or not, crawls. Even lowyat.net loads EXTREMELY slow for me. Anyone get this too? Are you running bittorent at the same time? Maybe TM is throttling all BT users, if you run BT then your internet activity will be screwed. |

QUOTE(geroro @ Mar 10 2009, 08:52 AM) Yeah I have setup my router to use Open DNS and TMNET DNS as backup. This works but when the ACPN2 or any international link down, then your DNS will be screwed, and sometimes the router wont load the 3rd DNS entry.... don't know why. I'll just get the Open DNS cannot resolve error message. |

I can't get the 60.x range IP today after how many tries.... keep getting 115 and 188.
So I guess back to BitTorrent, which is quite good. 70-80kbps speed for 1 torrent. But RS is total shit, so no RS for today. |
